If you have not read this you should. You really, really should.

The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

Huh apparently there is going to be a VR version of Civ 7. Exclusively working with the Meta VR set. I honestly cannot think of any aspect of Civ that would be improved by having it in VR.

Well, we're down to only 108,000 homes and businesses without power. Which is a vast improvement over the 768,000 that lost power in the storm.

The number without power here in Ireland is now down to 528,000. Sadly the number without water continues to rise, up to 217,000 as too many water treatment plants are still without power to keep up with demand. We're fine here in Kildare but out west not so much.

SHARE WIDELY. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one. (1/3)

Storm Éowyn bearing down on Ireland. The predictions are that it will be the worst storm to hit Ireland in recent memory. Which includes Storm Ophelia, which in 2017 was the worst storm in 50 years.

You do not have to talk to ICE if they don’t have a warrant. No es necesario que hables con la migra (ICE) si no tienen una orden judicial.

Always and forever.

I now have (in WoW) a spirit moose hunter's pet whose name is "Bulvinkel". That is all.

Huh. Bummer. I finally managed to look it up. Apparently if you have ever had atrial flutter you are not allowed to donate blood. Which I suppose I can understand, but it is still kind of a bummer. I hadn't gotten around to jumping through the hoops to be able to donate here, and now I can't.

In 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes. So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.

My current favourite Venn diagram. :)
