Laughing with my brother the about how Dad wasn’t a fan of police. Always said they are either people who couldn’t find real work or people who wanted a uniform and to hit people with a flashlight. I said you know I would say billy club or night stick. You think he got hit with flashlight? 😄

My assistant and I had an understanding. Friday was my get 💩 off my desk day and Friday was her I’m not working hard today day. Unless I specifically handed it to her and stated I needed it that day or early Monday she didn’t look at it.
Yes I pre-date digital case files.

Doubt it. Some of nemesis undermined it keeping his people away. Maybe it was fear of ICE protests so he will seek retribution in blood, bruises and fractures. He’s not going to accept that people were indifferent.

Every Democrat not asking whether she was a participant in these crimes or received cash or other consideration for concealing these crimes needs to go find a new job in line with their abilities.
She’s described murder in NY, voter fraud and child abuse. Why’d she hide it instead of naming names?

For 200+ years “trust the president to use it mostly well” worked then it swirled into trust no one for good reason.

I’m a team blue late roster addition who thought Romney was a bad nominee and learned there were worse choices.
I’m team constitution, justice and mercy and got no problems calling out bad policies and positions by team blue but people best not waste my time claiming they are the same.

The theory of pardons (correcting injustice and giving mercy when appropriate) and making it a fundraiser and now political subversion of norms has me willing to walk away from my absolutism to some reform as much as I consider it a really low priority for amending the Constitution compared to other

Darn hit the replies to find people to block. Assuming you hid them because the temptation of incorrectly correcting a woman seems like blood on the ground to draw insects.

RCV and jungle primaries give the vast middle a voice and power if they use it.

For me, worst thing is talking to my brother and realizing he doesn’t know the answer to some question about things Dad did. I can’t ask him and realize that piece of history and life is gone.

The old Broadway Bridge carried the 101st into Little Rock to get the Little Rock Nine into Central High School but that bridge has been replaced

For many decades people crossed, worked the planting and harvest and went home or worked prime construction season and went home.
Staying became a thing when getting back in got harder. Short term work visas would be very popular and the few issued are in great demand. Issuing more would help.

I regret that until today I never thought of asking if he ever got hit with a flashlight because I’d have said billy club or nightstick. Flashlight is an interesting choice of word. Wish he was still with us.

I feel like I have to say way too often that the Democrats are still fighting Reagan and don’t grasp the scenario has changed but for Newsome, Walz, AOC, and a handful of others.

Not tops on my list or close to it but anyone respecting the rights of the people, understanding that the constitution’s focus is restraining government tyranny, equality under the law, and equal application of the law is a huge upgrade.

Seriously I’m hoping hard someone will goad him into it. Imagine my old con law professor having to change 3rd amendment discussion from “this is some 18th century shit that doesn’t come up enough to think about” to “this is a critical national issue.”
