Seriously I’m hoping hard someone will goad him into it. Imagine my old con law professor having to change 3rd amendment discussion from “this is some 18th century shit that doesn’t come up enough to think about” to “this is a critical national issue.”

We’ve never had a really on point Third Amendment case. So just suggest putting soldiers in homes is the sort of executive order he’d be too cowardly to sign.

VP Harris wasn’t perfect enough. She could have overcome the misogyny and the racism if progressives had gotten over their demand for perfection as defined by them. /end

My father was federalized as an Arkansas Guardsman by President Eisenhower. As he explained to me as a kid, the governor was using the guard to prevent the law from being obeyed so took the Guard away from him. 50 years later that explanation holds up.

Yeah. Marketing. King did marketing. Malcolm X did too. Ghandi did marketing. But hey if you just want to protest and change nothing that’s a choice too.

I no longer have the headache of promoting a website so mostly leaving Twitter was less a conscious decision and more of simply not thinking to open it. Only time I go there is for periodic sports things no other platform delivers. I never decided to BOYCOTT twitter I simply wasn’t enjoying it.

People can bleed under any flag they choose if they’ve the courage to march. But this isn’t Mexico vs US. It’s about reclaiming the promises of the US constitution. From a marketing standpoint it makes no sense but those marching are free to express themselves as they see fit.

Y’all fucked us over long ago by “not wasting money” on our elections that were “unwinnable” then ended close despite being starved of money. Flyover country is fucked over country because people have learned they can’t mount a campaign without national money and won’t bother running

State run media. Can’t offend the leader speaking truth.

The great unveiling that a third of “Americans” hate having a Constitution and laws that restrain the president has been shocking to me.

I’ve known many racist people who believe the Black, Hispanic, Asian, whatever people they know are exceptional and not like “them”. They dislike the minorities they’ve not met or have met and it didn’t go well.

Eating well and affordably is possible, the big constraint is time and planning. Canned foods got my parents and grandparents through the Great Depression and war time rationing. Frozen ingredients even better because often more nutritious than fresh.

Only difference is it requires less people to enforce. Thanks for pointing it out!

I’d celebrate today’s Cubs win but the good former governor is a Tigers fan.

Putin better be careful, his pal may start thinking he’s a sucker and a loser.
