Ash actually hate being a Prince, it has nothing to do with his adoptive family, but it's more about the responsibility he has to do and all of the duties that's expected of him, since he's not the true Heir to the throne, he's a bit more free than his brother.

Ashley has a twin brother named Mivlo, who got taken away by Garleans when they we're around 4 years old. To this day, Ashley barely remember him, but knows he has a twin brother somewhere.

Elja is his forest name! He got the name Ashley by his adoptive mother and remembrance of a giant Ash tree that burned down in his village. The dead tree is still standing.
