You know for as much as people like to say that the best boss fights are 1 Vs 1's my fav kind of Boss in the Tales series are the group rumbles, stuff like the Chimeriad, Crystal Knights, God Generals, etc where your whole team goes up against a group of unique boss's all at once.

Something I remember in Stranger of Paradise is that, when Jack uses soulbursts on the pirates in the second main mission, he doesn't blow them up into red crystals like he does with any of the monsters, instead he just kinda uppercuts them to knock them out.

Because I'm a weirdo the first thing I tried ony Switch 2 was Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX, and man this game running so much better feels good, and I don't even really mean frame rate but more just not hanging as it calculates a lot of Pokemon's turns at once makes such a difference.

As much as I do actually quite like certain remakes (Paper Mario 2, every RE remake) I do think that remake culture has exacerbated some existing problems in games culture re: forced disposability of older titles that don't adhere to modern design sensibilities
