Why did you feel the need to announce your identity when it wasn't requested? What exactly does this add to your initial grievance?

no border on each post?

Jack is on NOSTR, not bluesky. True he was involved at one point at the earliest, but now it's Jay who runs the show.

They are worse because their actions would get you banned in Kiwi Farms.

They're coming, just hold your horses. It's going to take a few years.

No, you just want it to be his fault because you hate him. There's a big difference.

NATO crumbles without the US.

What? You thought they wouldn't come back?
comment in response to post
Only a few learn. But when they do it's too late a lot of the time.

LOL, what a cop out. Of course you'd bend the knee.

News by who. How do they know it's ineffective?

Trump is just an excuse.

Why is people first thought that a platform not removing posts means it's more right-leaning? Censorship comes from both sides and community notes is arguably the best feature X has and rightfully should be copied.

Definitely going to get only blocked notifications. Ha ha.

7 year old is in fact not a baby. What's with the infantilization?

Alex Gleason, the developer for Soapbox then switched to developing for NOSTR after preferring it to AP and tweaked it to work for Ditto.
comment in response to post
I'm a layman, so I can only give the highlights of the software. Ditto is essentially Relay + Frontend Client bundles into one - Similarly to what a Fediverse instance does. In fact, the frontend, which is called Soapbox was originally made for ActivityPub instances which used the Pleroma backend

Finally more desktop space utilization. Tired of the phone scroll view.

admittedly the "some guy" is a nostr dev, but then you go and bad talk fiatjaf. So w/e.
comment in response to post
So you take the Primal example, because some guy says it's the best, in their opinion. This is very subjective. I think Ditto is better and it has no need for centralization. Primal only has the benefit of being in development for longer.

public database for medical appointments?
comment in response to post
No. It's still in place like always. And is still enforced.

He didn't break any rules. As a matter of fact, people who seems to have grudge against him should be banned threats of violence, wishing for his death.
comment in response to post
Let's be honest with ourselves. Technically you can still get "effectively" banned if no relay operator is willing to host your posts. It's extremely hard to get that treatment + you can still be your own relay operator. But then only you will see your posts.

Nostr fixes Bluesky. Nostr is the only social communication protocol that's truly decentralized. Find your next Nostr app at nostrapps.com and ping me when you join. See you there!

Bro, we've seen your previous posts, we know what you mean. Now you're just spamming.

If you love sports so much, why don't you and your lovely partner work out together instead of wishing people death on the Internet for no good reason?
comment in response to post
Pretty ballsy of you wishing for someone's death with your whole ass profile picture showing how you look.
comment in response to post
Its not about the blocking
comment in response to post
Managed to block the idiot. @partofthemath.bsky.social (did:plc:ds4x5hnltpjjmvzh2zst73uu) I'll try add him to a moderation list you can subscribe to

can you walk me through the API thing? which end point was it?
comment in response to post
What is this oversight that the devs let people make longer names than they are able to show?
comment in response to post
new post, nothing wrong with it. Do you maybe know who is replying to you? Are you able to view notifications?
comment in response to post
can't reply to your new posts. do you have someone with a weird handle replying to all your posts resulting in all these errors?
comment in response to post
The good thing about them posting these things is you can track & document them. The smart ones just don't fed post.
comment in response to post
and we got a winner. Debugging the validation error we can see that the issue is a string that is too long (the displayname is 4410 characters long). @support.bsky.team
comment in response to post
I think it's subject to change. Only mastodon should have this problem since they can't edit handles ATM. But on many its possible so it's probably temporary.

Thank you! I will try hard to be a good neighbor to you. To prevent spam, I will only bridge from users with verified Nostr handles (with some exceptions and other rules). It would be a variation of this script: gitlab.com/soapbox-pub/...
