This has just been weighing on me for weeks, and especially this week. I loved working at Goddard. People there were great and some of the most dedicated people I know. It's fundamentally non-partisan excellence in science and engineering. Everyone is busy there. And it will save virtually no money.

Use Wayne Foundation money to restore as many of the cuts to USAID, NIH, NSF, etc. programs as is feasible, as the most effective way of improving life on Earth. Why aren't the billionaires here on Earth-Q doing that? (Also I'd do the slide-down-the-pole/suit-up/Batcave/into the Batmobile thing)

Lots of folks have been dunking on this (and doing it well!), I'll just add that not only have there been _plenty_ of Persian Jews over the millennia, but one of the most beloved stories in Judaism, the story of Purim, takes place in Iran and while things looked dicey in Act II they worked out fine!
