For 43 years I wore pants everyday, since 2020 I might put on pants 3 days a week.

It was so much worse that… Jefferson and Sally Hemings knew that Hemings was free when she arrived in Paris, but he convinced this 16 year old pregnant girl to return to slavery. He being a man in his forties.

..they would never return.”
Setting my teen years aside (and this was not a romance novel), this seems like a mispronounciation.

Or, “hey, you didn’t ask for red pepper flakes and Parmesan, but I made sure some packets got in there.

Randomly showing up with a pizza is hellasexy.
Even if I ordered it and have to pay for it…

Wait, sick people sleep in the guest bedroom here.
I can understand doing the toddler’s morning routine - or part of it at least, the part outside of the house.
But, whoa, making and taking calls in the bedroom when someone is sleeping - no, not sick, never.

I was going to say this. And a Beyoncé and Darius Rucker led country halftime would be cool.

Slapped on some Strong Tone and a Gloss Coat, finished with some anti-shine.
I am too much of a wimp to do shoulder boards or hat bands, but I think it came out okay.
Unfortunately they are going to have to stay on the popsicle sticks for a week or two, while I figure out the basing situation.

So, I finished the base with Orc Skin from Army Painter Speed Paints.

A surprise, a non-Army Painter color, Pastel Green by Vallejo on the helmets and painted metal. I like the color, but purist will point out it is too light - I think it looks good. For the ground I started with D&D Colors (Gale Force 9) Feywild Emerald, but ran out.

Almost done, knocked out a lot yesterday and today. Dusk red on the stocks, another red brown speed paint from Army Painter. Grim Black on the gun barrels and boots. I thought about coming back with some gunmetal on the barrel, but I am kind of exhausted.

So, I finished the gas mask bags with Malignant Green and did the bundled great coats with Charming Chartreuse. I am quite happy with both colors, and will probably use them as uniform colors for additional Soviets. Still all Army Painter Speed Paints.

So eight figures are going to have those ruddy bags and tomorrow I will find a better color for the rest of the company.

I did some “research” (okay I googled Soviet Armagh painting guide WWII) and was surprised at how red toned the leather was in pictures (including actual period photos.)
So I used Ruddy Fur for belts and belt pouches. I tried Sand Golem for gas mask pouches, but it is too red for canvas…

I hope people notice how bad of a painter I am. Because I think when I am done my stuff looks pretty cool on the table. And I want everyone who thinks they do not have the ability to paint minis to realize, not that it is easy, but that you don’t need to be good at it, to be good at it.

Maybe for the assault group - which was an ad hoc formation - I will use a variety of colors within the company.

I did not worry about consistency of color, because the Soviet Army did not have consistency of color or materials. I did use the same color for the entire company, I just did not worry about how thin or thick it went on.
I think I will do this for every Soviet company - a different Khaki/Green.

So, I did pants, jackets and hats - mostly Army Painter’s Pallid Bone for a khaki with just a hint of green, but the Commissar got Magic Blue (also an Army painter speed paint.)

Then I just take a paint pen to any paper flash and I am ready to play, maybe a little Five Parsecs from Home or Starfinder....

Give it a day and then brush a bit of mod podge over the hole thing. This will add some firmness and allow you to spray a sealer on it.

For small flaps, I use mod podge, but I try not to wet the brush too much. Moisture warps the paper terrain.

For big flaps I use glue sticks, because we want to avoid using too much moisture - and Elmer's counts as too much moisture.

Folding it up, I am so slack that I do not even score the back edges.

I use scissors for cutting, because it is easier than hobby knives. Safer too, especially if you are watching TV or having a drink or two while preparing it.
