Evie and Rick in The Mummy (1999) have a romance subplot that is so perfect that, even as a romance author, I have no notes. The chemistry is perfect. The banter is sweet and beautiful. He's obviously smitten from the beginning. And a librarian and a charming rogue with a soul? *chef's kiss*
