the mood today

Not sure how to approach playtesting your #TTRPG? Listen to Spencer Hibnick, head contract tester of MCDM, as he discusses the whys and hows of playtesting. www.youtube.com/watc...

This! I'm someone who actually enjoys the minutiae of balancing. That being said, it's great and all to have [3 spike pits, dealing 1d6 damage each, if a player fails all 3, they'll still have enough HP to make it through the dungeon]. But BEFORE that, WHY are there spike pits,WHO made them, etc.

you’ve been kidnapped. the characters in the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Yeah, I think I'm safe. Lol

Apparently 2025 is the beginning of Generation "Beta"... It'll be interesting to see how the inevitable generational hate pans out with this one, given the unfortunate baggage that word comes with. Lol

This was basically me in 2024 too. I hope I can do better in 2025.

For TTRPG designers who have made playtest packages. So I'm coming out with a large revamp to my system and am doing a V2 playtest. My dilemma is; do I use the same mini-adventure I wrote for the last play test, or write a new one? Do you think people will care about doing the same one again?

Obligatory Christmas TTRPG dice haul.

"Hmm, I wonder what's on the TTRPG feed today?" - Finds three accounts trying to promote their AI slop on Kickstarter and Drive thru. - My block list grows.

I feel having a section in your TTRPG source book called "How to Play [Your TTRPG Here]" covers both bases. Imo, these sections are also important for people (both players and GMs) to get an overview of what they are getting into, so they can more easily digest the rest of the book.

I feel called out.

I've decided to write a small "Strategy" section into all the stat blocks you'll find in my TTRPG Tamers. It feels like such a great QoL feature, especially for new Game Masters. Just quick and concise tips (2-3 lines) for how that being can be best utilised in an encounter.

It's wild to me that we still have above ground powerlines, especially in areas that experience wind storms often. One tree or branch falls and the power for thousands of people is out for hours or even days. You'd think with how much we rely on electricity this would be a solved problem by now.

Uh huh, yep, there's the sensationalist headline, didn't take long. They are talking about Among Us...

imagine of breloom for no particular reason

I can't believe Luigi would do this!

I often wonder where I would be if I didn't have such bad social anxiety. It's something I've struggled with nearly all my life. Making & maintaining connections have always been hard for me, so to any mutuals just know it's not that I don't like you, I just that suck at interaction. Lol

Previous sponsor fell through, so I have an opening for my video on Triangle Agency! Expected to film around December 14 and go live before Christmas. Business email and everything is in my Beacon: beacons.ai/indestructoboy

telling creators you like their work is less 'if you don't praise they'll stop' and more 'if you encourage they'll do the thing you like' I don't make art for others, I make what I make regardless, but if someone else is into it I !!!! and vroommmm it's thrilling to share what makes me happy
