Thanks for the insightful comment, Travis. I do think so too. I also try to embrace the texture of the surface in every work, as it is an inevitable part of it. Cheers!

Super cool! I might try something tomorrow with good natural light. I think that it maybe has something to do with the phones automatic white balance 🤔 Anyways, thanks for the info!
The shots of your daughter came out fantastic by the way :)

Yes, the distorted colors from the badly dispersed chemicals are super cool. I saw you use some polaroid app to scan those right? I might give it a chance to scan mines if I can find them first

I got one just like that from when I tried to repair my old polaroid! Thanks for bringing back that memory. I managed to repair the camera eventually though, It was just a misaligned roller.

My beloved Sigma fp (and the new bf, I think) also have it. Although some are missing like the 65:24. 21:9 is the wider if I remember correctly.

Cool spot with a nice brick wall, it was worth the hassle in my opinion!

If you consider graffiti photography in abandoned places to be appropriate, I got plenty of those and would love to be added!

Of course you can! I suggest you look at yourself and find the reasons that inspire that desire. If you find those reasons are genuine, go for it! Of course, with the utmost respect and compassion for yourself. Sorry if I was too forward with my answer ❤️🩹

Haha, no problem! Look it up if you're curious about it, I think it's quite interesting. Absolutely - and you're welcome! 28 here, we still have a long way to go 🫂

Nice! Perfectly exemplified. When I think about this topic I can't help but think about David Lynch. Aside his work, the man had such a passionate way of talking about his ideas… I prefer the more open meaning of the newer one; plus, the nature of the background contrasts nicely with the subject :)

This resonates with me! The way I’m actively trying to look at it is: "It's better to execute an idea now, with your current skills, than never." If the idea is good, you can always come back to it, but if you let it go, chances are you'll be a totally different person when you come back to it.

Totally! I think that not hating what you paint right away it’s an skill on it’s own 😂

Thanks to your illustratation I just discovered that the made up name that I've been using for more than a decade it's actually the name of a god in persian mythology, which apparently also inspired the name of the character in your illustration!
Thanks for that… By the way, great artwork, sir!

Good references appear when you least expect them. It would go well with the bobcat logo, ha!
