I have one co-worker who admitted that he voted for Trump, but now has a bad feeling that he made a mistake. He is hoping he is wrong, though.

Long story super short - people have their feelings hurt, and they are choosing to react from that position. They've been told they're the "Bad Guys" for so long (in their minds) that, fuck it, they're the Bad Guys. It's stupid and childish and shameful, but that is where we are at, in a nutshell.

I work in a conservative office environment. The sentiment I've heard is that Nazis are "OK" (😱) because, "They called us Nazis first." Or "deplorables," or "trash," or whatever. The stereotypical American (white, male, some education) feels, in a way, that they have been disenfranchised recently.

One, I can not speak for all Americans. I can not quote polling data that might indicate how many Americans have non-negative feelings about Nazis. But I can say, from recent conversations I've had with colleagues, divisional politics has a lot to do with it. Stay with me here, running out of room..

Trust me, the cognitive dissonance of any American, at best, tolerating Nazism is bewildering for a nation that has built most of our ethos around - wait for it - hating Nazis. Captain America fought Nazis (he punches Hitler A LOT). Indiana Jones fought Nazis. It is surprising even to other citizens

........Elle Woods made this argument years ago while at Harvard Law. Seeing this as a legit (?) piece of legislation was not on my 2025 bingo card.

Just watched this with my boyfriend and realized I missed taking my ex to your show at Stand Up Live in HSV, AL. As a life-long Alabama resident, and a resident of HSV for 4 years, I think your jokes were on point. It hit, and it was exactly what I needed to laugh today. So, thank you for that. 🫶
