Yo, the town of Bellingham WA is considering making the city an official transgender sanctuary and they're having a town hall meeting this Monday at about 6:30-7ish! Would mean a lot to me if folks in the area showed support, id love a city close to my heart to be a sanctuary!

Man, I see where people are coming from, but as an artist, with a lit degree, I don't think it's a good move to say "it makes people less prejudiced" or "it improves critical thinking." Better to just say art is good because we're all here on this sinking ship and it's nice to have a band playing.

We watched people standing in line for 8-10 hours to vote in Georgia, so they made it illegal to give them water. They called in bomb threats to majority Black polling places. They did everything they could to suppress the vote. And then folks are out here like, "well Georgia voted for this lol"

I was scared to first put up a queer pride flag (red state resident) but the biggest surprise was how much more often people stopped by my house asking for help: stuck motorists, unhoused neighbors, etc. Some told me outright that the flag made them guess that I cared about them and that's correct
