hey remember when a rich ceo died then when they caught the suspect they made a circus of it like they found osama bin laden and charged him with terrorism but less than weeks ago two democrat lawmakers and their spouses were shot as literal assassination to shift control and everyone already forgot

God, fucking terrorism. The fire alarm is back again. This isn't a planned test. It started at 5am. They don't do tests like this pre-dawn on a Saturday. :/ I'm gonna fight someoneeeee. >:(

Oh thank god, it finally stopped. Now, I just get to nurse feeling overstimulated from all the noise for the next few hours. :/

Uggghh, fire alarm in our apartment building is going off for no reason. It's terrible. How am I supposed to do anything with the noise???

The discourse on this website is a never ending repeat. I'm going to do something creative instead of engaging.

Played some Long Live the Queen(ooo throwback I know!) because it's a good comp to the game I'm planning. My conclusion? Not as enjoyable as I'd like(due to some narrative choices), but still very fun.

I’m not sharing the post, because racists are stupid and dull, but one of them accused Mamdani of committing “vibe warfare,” which is amazing. I am proud to be alive during a time when even vibes can fight wars.

I HAVE FINISHED WRITING A NEW BOOK 🎉🦋🌸🦄🥳🙌

I swear it has been infinite days. Are we still discoursing about lesbians?(bi lesbians, nonbinary lesbians, transmasc lesbians, trans man lesbians, ect) The day ends in 'y' and all, but are you not fucking tired? It's summer, go eat a snow cone or something.

MeToo never, not once, went "too far", and was far, far away from going far enough.

People defend this stuff as "accelerating learning" and to be honest, I don't see how. As Pookle explains, you have to have experience doing the thing to learn. That struggle is your neurons crafting new connections. You need it, my guy.

The semiliterate people who use chatgpt like to point to calculators as a precedent of assistive technology but the thing is: calculators actually calculate. A calculator really does let you outsource calculation. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and marketed as doing, reproducibly.

I've been researching a piece on why the "human in the loop" paradigm is so much nonsense, but this is the gist: if you don't attend to how the system functions when it worked, you won't be able to fix it when it doesn't. When you don't understand how it works, the only "fix" is to redo everything.

Consider a programmer looking at code they themselves wrote a year ago, now having to identify and fix a bug. They have to rebuild the mental model of what is going on, which is easier if they have already had a mental model of what is going on.

Btw, I think Noah Berlatsky's consistent defense of Will's mealy-mouthed bullshit is a mark against him as well. People aren't being randomly mean to the wittle man. He is actively engaging in genocide denial and zionist defenses right now. Stop defending that. It's pathetic.

Stancil's utter fucking inability to take an L and stop poasting through it is now leading him to defending Zionism and calling the jewish leftists who disagree with him antisemites, all in an attempt to avoid answering why he won't call what's happening in Palestine "genocide".

And yes, the "learning design patterns" skeet is about my working on my Mermaid Prince Raiser Game. I'm getting back to it.

>learning about software design patterns Why am I doing this to myself? I could just write spaghetti. Everyone else just writes spaghetti...it doesn't have to be pretty and goooood. D: (I'm not going to write spaghetti)

Ah, someone has definitely rebageled a starter pack I'm in for Juneteenth. Hello new people! I hope you like it here!
