We had a case near Alberton where a woman went missing with her dog near the river. They found the dog days later not alive and then her a year later in the river about 30 miles from where she had been. Due to her condition when she was found, I believe she had been kept in a freezer and dumped.

Money markets and CDs are safer than mutual funds right now.

The mutual funds in my 401k are mainly stocks. The only guaranteed safety net is CDs but if they kill off FDIC there’s nothing left.
