Why paint ICE on the car? The “real” ones don’t.

Haley Joel Osment (He was fun in The Boys) but he’s super competent and secure. In a standoff with some of the bad guys: “You’re surrounded!” “Surrounded? By you? All I see is dead people” (Yes, that’s also a Darth Vader paraphrase… sorry) and then the bad guys all get sniper red dots on them.

What the hell is wrong with whoever approved this?
like... Nobody in the marketing department saw ANYTHING wrong with this?
Oh wait. They did, but they got overridden by the CEO, didn't they?
Hey marketing? Start looking for jobs, because you're going to take the blame when this backfires.

You’re not doing anything like that though, you’re just concern trolling and being annoying.

You've got it the wrong way round. The evil fucks found a home in the GOP and created MAGA.
Miller has always been like this.

Bluesky doesn't penalize you for posting links.
As for Algorithms: The Algorithm driven feed is "Popular with friends" which does what it says on the box. It shows you posts that were liked by people you follow and (seems to) prioritize your Mutuals (Accounts that follow you back)

I’m kind of hoping the photo editor is being subversive, but probably to try and whitewash the January 6th attacks.

Yup, and there lies the problem: There are no simple solutions in governing a country. There are always (sometimes unintended) secondary or tertiary impacts.
But the left is learning. “No Kings” is simple and unambiguous.
TACO: triggers Trump, funny + the association with Latino culture helps.

It’s every damn Mainstream News Org too.
But then I remember who owns the newspapers and news channels.
The US has issues, and it’s spreading because other powerful people see the example…

I love seeing doodle vids. I'm nowhere near your quality of work, but it lets me feel a whole lot better about my tweaks and fuckups and redraws when I'm sketching something when I see someone super talented do the same. :-)

By design.
Their education and media rarely touch on anything outside the US. Unless it involves the US in some way or may be harmful to the US (to shape public opinion)
That, combined with "American Exceptionalism" glorifying anything USA, means they are literally kept in the dark.
It's... sad

Love the Elektra piece. 😍 gorgeous.
No AI, agreed, 100%. Art is human made. GenAI is not art.
The charm of a unique piece done on physical paper or canvas, yes.
But Digital Art is not the same as AI… and your statement looks like you’re conflating the two…

"no room for discussion"?
Plenty of room for discussion, it's just that you don't like it when people disagree with you...

"Don't engage the cops & military" is a little hard when they're the ones escalating to violence.
And yes, Trump is spinning this into "riots", that's why they're escalating it.

Slightly better, but still completely wrong.
Even I know this about the US Civil Rights movement and it's rights that were conquered (not granted).

Yup, checked his profile to see what else he'd said. Making statements like these but not allowing comments on them?

Also the days when no-one but a handful of people knew who led government agencies. They just showed up and did their work.

It is funny. Because the examples they trot out are usually "But I get my multigrain pumpernickel bread from the Artisinal baker and it's only $12."
Meanwhile, we get that same bread at our local Aldi. For €1,50.

I think hyper focus isn’t that big of a “problem” if your society doesn’t revolve around making people work in an office 40 hours a week to make money.
And the shifting hyper focuses/jack of all trades thing seems very handy for a nomadic group.
Plus, great in a crisis, as long as it’s not ours.

I adore my GPS, because I have NO sense of direction, but yeah, I try to at least get to know some of the landmarks and main roads in the city.
It's the same thing with phone numbers too. I used to know about a 12 phone numbers by heart. Now? I have no idea what my wife's number is.

The “true artists draw every day” is the most toxic one, I think.
I have periods of time where I just don’t have the time, energy and inspiration. It happens.
Actually, anything in line with “True artists do x” can fuck off entirely.
True artists make art. ❤️

I’ve used Chat GPT a few times because some of my colleagues rave about it, but its cheery disposition icks me out so much.
It being confidently wrong sometimes makes it useless as a tool.
That, plus the lack of consent for its training data, and the environmental impact.
