Most people would find that an easy decision! But you're right. It will keep them up all night.

For "fuck off and die", read "put some trousers on".

This is very clearly tip-of-iceberg of the filtering that goes on. Sky is Murdoch and I have no problem imagining the filtering comes from his person. LBC looks more unclear. It would be so good if this becomes the story for once.

All I know about Netherlands Protestantism is William of Orange. Was this a sign of religious intolerance, or was the sacred ground aspect of cemeteries so fundamental that splitting up mixed couples was widespread? The 1880s were pretty fervent, at least in England and France.

This is a nuclear armed state, FFS. Anyone feel like taking them seriously yet?

Not much, I admit :-) I really would like someone to explain railway economics. Why has something that was affordable for all classes in the Victorian era become a luxury? Why is it cheaper to go by car, if you've 3, or even 2, in the vehicle. So sure. I agree with you.

I'm completely ashamed of me as well. I'll donate and pray. I wish with all my heart this wasn't happening.

I remember this from... 1999.

WHO would call their pet Pete? Never met a pet called Pete.

Absolutely. Gordon Brown put it in his platform for the 2010 general election. It would have been worth electing him just for that.

That's a really good take.

This could be an important distinction emerging. Au and Ca function as countries, as nations. UK and US never have. Forced to choose between empire and country, it's empire every time.

Iciness and emotional incompetence can also be uncovered in men who are passionate about motorbikes, or football, or whatever you're having yourself.

This could be a handy warning for a bunch of countries. Australia votes on Saturday, and there's been a matching, but less dramatic, drift away from the right.

Mine is the sixth ninth like. Nice.

Haha. I still remember taking my 5 year old to see Trolls. 5 minutes in, I was having your thoughts. By 20 minutes I was laughing more enthusiastically than any of the kids.

And really, men do not care if you come into men's toilets at the theatre or anywhere else. That has never been the question, as you're completely aware.

Ridiculous idiot here. You're trying to drive a tank through a long-standing social practice that exists in all cultures and has overwhelming support. The other side have arguments you never engage with. You're othering anyone who disagrees. You think you have a halo, but you epitomise the problem.

Give it a week or two, then watch Habemus Papum. Absolutely brilliant, and funnier.

Confirming my long held position that the problem is not socks-and-sandals in itself, but the beige colour of the socks.

The person who chose that for their PhD never submitted.
