Splash: The Patriots are taking the biggest defender off the market, as Eagles DT Milton Williams lands in New England, per me and Mike Garafolo. Williams gets a $26M per year.

Moehrig to Carolina

Lewis signing seems mostly positive from what he brings, just weird cause Jarrian seemed to be playing as consistent as anyone left and was doing it as a rookie.

Jourdan Lewis allowed 0.5 yards per coverage snap out of the slot last season, tied for 6th* among 90 qualifying CBs, per @sportsinfosolutions.com *he tied with Jarrian Jones

Let’s see if Jags go all in on Byron Murphy

possible I'm biased because I've followed every snap of Jourdan Lewis' career, but I really don't think this is a bad deal culture guy, great mindset for a team that needs it. was one of the best nickels in football last year, and he's only 29. good chance he can play at that level for 2-3 years.

The Patriots are working hard on their defense so far: Edge Harold Landry CB Carlton Davis LB Robert Spillane All added. All 3 have familiarity with DC Terrell Williams from his time in Tennessee and Detroit.

A big one per @tompelissero.bsky.social: The Patriots are signing Carlton Davis, who gets a 3-year, $60M deal with $34.5M fully guaranteed.

Carlton Davis $20M/yr to Patriots per Schefter

Jarrian was terrible outside, like so bad that many fans wanted him cut. I'll wait to see what the plan is, but this is a confusing start.

I wonder what the Jourdan Lewis numbers are? He had an amazing year!

Titans get the LT “prize”

Milton Williams to Carolina

Jourdan Lewis is headed to the Jaguars, reportedly as the NFL's highest-paid nickel corner. Good for him. He has been an incredible Cowboy for almost a decade. All the best to him in Jacksonville. www.bloggingtheboys.com/2025/3/10/24...

Expect them to go after a bunch of defense and a WR. We saw them miss out on Godwin already. Heard of interest in NYG Slayton too.

$20M guaranteed to a position you have a rising 2nd year player at?!

Oddly, the notifications from the other app seem to be popping just fine just nothing else lol

FWIW, Lewis graded at 71 Jones at a 69 last year

Denver working on closing a deal for Hufanga per Fowler

Drew Dalman to the Bears. 3 years 42M. 28M GTD. Per Schefter

Chris Godwin back to Bucs 3 years 66M chance to make 24 deal done by tory dandy. 44M guaranteed at signing.

The legal tampering window opens in about 15 minutes. One NFL executive said to me earlier to expect free agency to last "all of 13 seconds." Buckle in.

Another important re-sign in Arizona: G Evan Brown is heading back to the Cardinals on a two-year deal worth $11.5M, per The Insiders. Brown started all 17 games, a valuable part of their O-line.

Two guys with Rams connections I’d watch for Jax: Bobby Brown and Michael Hoecht

The bird app struggling on Tampering Day is funny

No Hall for Fred

@madebytim.design Name y’all’s price- ijs

The Jags having a fellow member of the tribe at HC must have the JCA gym crew buzzing this morning

History will be made tomorrow across the Deep South!

Would expect news of Doug’s departure as jags HC to come today. Maybe first thing Monday am if the PR team wants to wait.

It’s not clear yet that this just means it will be 7:45 CT tomorrow. Georgia president Jere Morehead told me he didn’t know an official time yet.

2025 is barely 12 hours old on the East coast…

yeah it might get postponed

If you’re headed north over the Dames Point, heads up cops have right lane blocked at the top. They’re talking to someone who is sitting on the ledge. Hope he’s ok and cops can help him.

A majority of the folks I know who are successful by financial definition, are either small business owners or independent contractors who took up a trade after seeing college wasn’t for them & turned it into a lucrative career.

Should we continue to encourage kids to go to college ? Or push them to take up a trade ? I believe in college. Learning how to learn, IMO, is a critical life skill. Being exposed to people of different backgrounds, makes yiu wiser Qualifier- it should be a school you can afford.

I think Fred gets in. Weak class relatively speaking with no “sure things”, only RB in the room. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Every Selection Sunday from now on is going to be completely different with Greg Gumbel gone. This sucks. Rest in Peace.

I can’t believe they’ve all left us.
