Admit you've thought about it. You've wished you could board a time machine to travel a few years forward to see what becomes of this once-enviable nation. Yeah, same.

you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.

No matter how radically un-Christian-like the idea may seem when it's first introduced, just give it a minute, they'll come around.

40-day Target boycott starts tomorrow. (Honestly, based on the eagerness with which they cut back minority hiring goals, I have no intention of going back. Ever.)

Guys, it's 2024. Why are we still shaking hands? Why not knuckle bumps? We had a way out, a pandemic, remember? Wasted opportunity.

So, is there a trending list on BlueSky?

Former Threads and Twitter friends, where you at?

Okay, so, I'm not a troll or a bot. You were in some starter pack, and that's why I followed you. Zuck sold the farm, which means you'll be seeing a lot more of us over the next few days.

If I had to type in a password to disengage an explosive, and I didn't know the password, so you passed me a paper with the password written in anything smaller than a 14 point font, we dead. #older

Anti-intellectualism is not of God. If you believe he's real, all-knowing, and all-powerful, you shouldn't be afraid of the search for truth. Higher Ed is not your boogeyman. The folks who want you ignorant are your boogeyman. How big is your God that you have to defend him at every new discovery?

Glad y'all are loving bsky, but I'm finding out of 10 new followers, 3 are African men (never women) seeking donors for their "orphanage," 3 are shirtless men seeking "casual' relationship that is somehow "longterm," 2 DM me w/ a "Hello Love," yeah, no. Is it just me or is this typical? bcuz, yuck.

As a prof, I'm fact-checked all the time. I can't write or engage in conversations w/out citing quality sources. Say, I tell my colleagues that the local school is giving kids puberty blockers upon kids' request. Colleagues would say, "Wow, that can't be right." They'd ask for evidence. But... 1/4

Okay, but, friends, if this were erectile dysfunction, we'd know. We'd know the cause, the cure, and it would have a zero copay.
