I would've guessed Florida correctly first time, no hints.

I believe the truth of your previous thread, but I haven't seen substantive reporting beyond resistlib rabble insisting that anyone behaving illegally is a PB. The zone is flooded. You read a thing, which you aren't sharing. GJ?

Tricia McLaughlin of DHS was on PBS last night claiming that 75% of ICE detainees have been convicted of violent crimes. Like parade attendance stats, it's one complete fabrication after another.

My copy has Colson Whitehead instead of Taibbi. This is first ed., second printing: Dec 2002.

Now he has pole position. Good job, Bluesky.

"Evacuate Tehran" via tweet but flagpole gets a "major address". If he was a piece of equipment, you'd take it offline to recalibrate it.

Grouping anarchists with PB and ICE is an all-time self-own. Anarchists are radically opposed to oppression. They have different methods than you, but they are on the side of the people.

So OP blocked me, but for people who stumble on this thread, please note the ideological incoherence of an account that quotes Jefferson's "tree of liberty", while simultaneously arguing for an absolute moratorium on anything other than submissive compliance with state power. lol, lmao, etc.

Or, better yet, I would point you to the writings of Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba, who have lived and studied social movements for most of their lives. That's not mutually exclusive with contacting me on signal. That door is (and will remain) open to you. bsky.app/profile/mske...

If you'd like to talk about this, my signal is stayup.10.

Fuck off, Molly. If you're so happy to live under authoritarians, you can move to Hungary. I prefer peace, which is incompatible with a police state. Direct opposition to the police won't stop as long as they continue to behave as brown-shirts thugs.

Anarchists are part of a popular front that includes you and the other people at the rallies today. Their methods are different, but they reliably do the work that others are afraid to do. We're living under fascism, so we should start acting like it. Don't pretend that PPB is peaceful.

We won't live in a police state. The police create the violence. The police escalate the violence. And then they lie about their role and play the victim card. Don't be a rube, Molly.

Hey - now I'm sorry for slow response. I've only seen your flyers for the P.S. activities. I hope you have a solid turnout. I'll be on foot in other places today. Be well.

A tail is an endurance athlete. Tail training consists of long, slow zone-2 workouts which are highly specialized to the wagging muscles. And dogs never skip tail day, so the mitochondrial density and efficiency of cellular respiration in the tail is extraordinary.

Murray is doing a good job, but Cantwell has been extremely disappointing. Her positions have been centrist economic pablum. She's a peacetime representative and is obviously out of her depth now that we need an actual opposition party. I will support any strong primary candidate vs. Cantwell.

Okay. It is certainly *a* plan. The current messaging seems to present it as *the* plan. It's like teaching people how to sauté but equating it with the whole of cooking.

I'm sure that their original business plan only focused on grills and wood fires, but the marketing team at Jealous Devil is probably making a PowerPoint slide titled "New market opportunities" that contains an estimate of LE vehicles in the US.
comment in response to post
Yeah - it's not a smart plan. I haven't seen this released by protest organizers, only some of the big resist influencers. Are you seeing this linked on the main 50501 or Indivisible channels?
comment in response to post
There is some reporting around this that suggests the vehicles were ignited with M80s. That's not what the photos show. I use these to light charcoal, not cars, but this is what the NYPD photos show on the tire.

Sitting down is terrible advice. It might sound reasonable on paper, but it endangers the people who sit.

Fine. What are you going to do now? Expressions of outrage only hold space until you act in accordance with the needs of the moment. Show us something inspiring.

4/ The last time the Seattle police rioted on the people, the people forced them to abandon their East Precinct building. I trust my neighbors in the coming fight. Seattle will not back down and we will prevail.

3/ I'm filled with courage by the the resilient and unified people in LA. And NYC. Chicago, Philly, Spokane, Tempe. Now home to Seattle, where fascist forces on bikes will try one more time to cower the people.

2/ I've found it hard to sleep, watching the videos of masked law enforcers act with absolute lawlessness, terrorizing citizens with riot munitions and batons; trampling them under horse hooves. I'm feeling a wash of fear and anticipation coming back to the states.

That's good news. Spread out police forces. I've also seen notices of a march planned from Pioneers Square to Seattle Center bsky.app/profile/mort...
