I’m with you there. My wife thinks (knows) I’ve lost the plot.

Yep. He feels like a manager in the mould of Poch for today’s football. At least that’s what I’m hoping for. More Poch 2014 than Nuno 2021

That was nearly my last line. But Ange has helped me feel it, and believe it. Just a tiny bit more.

Gosh. Sorry to hear John. Well I guess there’s pride knowing you would never act that way. Your work is beautiful by the way. Please keep doing what you’re doing.

Thanks for writing this Sameer. I’m almost exactly a decade behind you (I was 8 in 1991 when I truly fell in love with the team my Dad adored). You perfectly articulated the difference between Poch, the dross, and Ange. Sad to see him go.

Thanks for sharing Beth.

Think of the reasons why they are acting like shit. Nearly always it’s because they are unhappy, sad, angry. Nearly always if you wanted to, you could feel pity. It’s very hard to feel angry at someone if you pity them. They don’t have what you have. Pity them.

Yep. Last I looked they weren’t celebrating fourth with one of these.

Yep. Bumped into a local Spurs dad he said he actually feels almost a sense of grief. Yes, we know how weird and over the top that sounds. But it’s kind of true. A dampener on everything.

With you on this. ✊

Weather’s glorious on holiday. Thanks CFT.

This is the full two seasons not just 65 games. Not much better, but more accurate to judge than ignoring the first ten games. Mid table in the league, a trophy, champs league football. I don’t think we will, but I too would love give him another ten games to see what happens.

When’s their parade?

I think all these questions, all this back and forth, it deserves at least one more season to see what will come of it. There’s not enough conclusive evidence to say he should go, and lots to say he’s won a trophy against all the odds. One more season with better injury odds and see what happens.

I guess I don’t think the situation warrants a ‘let’s talk about your future’ chat. I think it warrants a ‘let’s talk about the teams future’ but his should just be assumed safe. But I appreciate others might not think the same.

Fair enough. I thought I remembered some good things but maybe I’m the only one!

Fair enough, I thought I saw glimpses of something but the replies have been unequivocal!

Thanks for all your positive takes, often when we’ve needed them most. Have a fantastic summer break, one with a giant smile on your face. We did it.

They are having A-LOT of fun. I saw the bus in three different loops and every time they were going for it.

It was something else. So proud of this club and these fans.
