The liberal establishment is crumbling under the weight of the DNC's commitment to getting that bag and nothing else. Talked to a few who are passionate about overturning Citizens United. But they're usually more interested in fleeing the country than fixing the problem their electioneering caused.

You clearly haven't heard their laughable "Roman salute." Yeah, we're just trying to ape the Roman empire, guys... Hah hah hah... 😒

It's gotten to the point where I feel like we need to start pushing money into small artist philanthropy just to keep the industry. There is a demand for human artwork. You can still tell for now. There's a certain soullessness to AI artwork, even if you cut away the extra fingers and uneven eyes.

What do you care about how things are going in Gaza when you're more concerned with how they spoiled your election with all their being shot, bombed, and starved? This is just so intensely disingenuous and disrespectful and represents zero self-reflection on Harris' failings as a candidate.

He writes: "None of the four factors seem to weigh in favor of ChatGPT being a fair use of its training data. That being said, none of the arguments here are fundamentally specific to ChatGPT either, and similar arguments could be made for many generative AI products in a wide variety of domains."

I'm deeply interested in the results of this investigation, as companies have a vested interested in minimizing the effect whistleblowers have on their business model. Suchir's blog post specifies that the problem may not be limited to OpenAI, so long as generative content is exposed to the market.

Please have a read of Suchir's blog post regarding fair use and its intersection with generative AI, a topic that I believe the creatives of Bluesky will find enlightening. I wish his family the best in their efforts to corroborate the police's claims of "no foul play." suchir.net/fair_use.html

Hey, New York Times. Don't know if you noticed, but the mass media mogul descending upon Bluesky to flee X because it turned into a maelstrom of far-right Nazi nutjobs is bad for optics. Start practicing some real damn journalism or get out of here for crying out loud. This place is not for you.

I did see some postings about Void War! I'll have to take a look at it when I have time. FTL: Multiverse has been on my list for a while, I've just never sat down to get it configured. My kingdom for several thousand units of Yorkshire terrier meat! Randy is truly the most generous of storytellers.
