The United States appears to be in violation of the Budapest Memorandum which disarmed Ukraine of nuclear weapons in exchange for security guarantees. The agreement signed by the US in 1994 specifically prohibits economic coercion against Ukraine.

Ed Davey made a good point on PMQ’s yesterday when he questioned the PM on his reluctance to rejoin the Customs Union (if Reeves is serious about growth); Starmer in his arrogance dismissed this. If we are not in the CU the economy will continue to suffer so I’m not sure what more Reeves can do
