Here’s hoping he continues to get better and can find yet more things to love, enjoy, and savour. It’s very hard to leave his side, but i will be back soon. Heading home to my daughter, sleep and non-hospital food. Send secular wishes into the void for us (or whatever)?

One of the few situations where I really felt a white lie (I wasn’t NOT interested in his work, but had a bigger agenda - a DNA test) was ethically permissible. He’s had a bad week. Turned a corner, but not out of the forest…

Leaving millions with No Recourse to Public Funds, & having totally inadequate protections for those facing destitution/homelessness because of it, doesn't just punish those individuals. It's an act of social self-harm, costing communities & public services dearly. When are we going to do better?

I'm so sorry for what you continue to go through. Regardless of this unjust verdict you will continue to be an inspiring leader, shiner of light & inspiration on false confessions, exoneration and every topic you turn your mind to. Strength & solidarity.

I can’t believe you’re equating the badness of measuring in cups with using cans of soup as an ingredient. Cups are excellent. Cans are an abomination. Good luck with the notifications!!

If LHA rates were uprated in line with the 30th percentile of local rents from 2025-26, instead of being frozen, we estimate that around 75k children would be lifted out of poverty by 2029-30 ...

This is what the increase in decisions and interviews following the election looks like. The drop off in May, June and July was because the Illegal Migration Act had prevented officials from processing any claims. The new government undid that, getting the system going again.
