Funny how he has to insist that they're such good quality, you know, not like the stuff he's usually hawking. Are the new gold Trump phones rust proof? Are the components inside the phone?

If you can bankrupt a casino, you can bankrupt a military parade.

Nah, it should be its own nation called Pacifica.

All major cities are Democratic-run cities.

ICE is the group initiating the "criminal behavior" by ignoring due process. The regime moreover doesn't actually engage in law enforcement, just lawlessness. So the justification for the military here is all lies.

Spot on. This was always the regime's plan. Angelenos are resisting for all of us right now against this immoral, unlawful, authoritarian government.

Texas GOP doing everything it can to make us the Iran of the USA: a theocratic petrol state based in misogyny and repression of science and free speech, thus driving out doctors, researchers, and teachers and making us collectively stupider and less competitive. Their souls are too small for Texas.

Overcompensation. The amount of effort one puts into defining a real man is inverse to hand size.

The immorality it takes to lie to your voters that immigrants and marginalized groups are the cause of their problems, and then to terrorize immigrants for show based on that lie, all the while working to screw those voters by transfering more wealth to the rich, is beyond comprehension.

Old man with no idea how to run a business lectures successful businessmen. OK Boomer.

Do they employ the white man's overbite when they're getting down like that, or is that only for the potus jerk-off dance?

And the Sox won in 4, so the future papal aura was a blessing to them. The anti-JD Vance effect.

Yes, absolutely, but that's 1/3 of the population. We're here because another 20% who don't like MAGA voted for Trump anyway. Think of the images from the Civil Rights Movement. Emmett Till. Greensboro lunch counter. Edmund Pettus Bridge. They made a difference with public opinion.

Pictures are worth a thousand words. These horrific images need to be everywhere.

Would a parking brake help? Bollards? Maybe a bike lane around the perimeter? This is not making the military great. Never happened under responsible Democrat leadership.

When was the last time I saw a traffic enforcement campaign in Austin? Maybe the Obama administration? PDs are understaffed, and traffic enforcement seems to be the first cut.

Women and people of color were let into the economic game, and guys just stopped competing. Meritocracy punched white men in the face for the first time, and instead of getting up off the mat, they reverted to misogyny and racism. Need better role models. Education & empathy are strong, not weak.

This is a blueprint for a police state prioritizing intimidation, violence, and mass incarceration over actually helping its citizens. This obliterates the idea of "e pluribus unum", the welcome of the Statue of Liberty, and the American Dream itself.

Most Maga "Christians" don't know or don't care what Jesus taught. They get off on Old Testament vengeance, and being a church member just lets them Christ-wash their hate. What other explanation is there for their nihilism and cruelty, perhaps other than trying to hasten Armageddon?

Can't imagine why rational, non-fascist world leaders wouldn't want to do business with the U.S. right now.

The Senate could stop this at any time, since the fentanyl "emergency" enabling these executive tariffs is utterly bogus. But as a nation, we apparently haven't suffered enough yet for Republicans to care. Or more likely, they simply don't care, as they view themselves as allies of the oligarchy.

He really does want to make 95% of us into an impoverished, sick, terrified, hopeless proletariat, and his soulless, immoral enablers think they're going to be in the 5%. But if the 95% rise up, then the enablers will end up on trial, not in power. We can do this.

The definition of not meeting the moment. Still blows my mind that only Cheney and Kinzinger stepped up in the GOP. In a Congress of Murkowskis and Schumers, be a Murphy, Sanders, Crockett, or AOC.

This feels like the showdown where the administration finally outright rejects the authority of the Supreme Court, assuming Roberts is willing to assert that authority. At that point, the institutional checks are over, and only the people can restore our Constitutional Republic.

Yeah, regrettably we're in a moment in history when you truly are who you voted for. If you voted DJT and GOP this last time, you voted for ignorance and cruelty, and shocker, you got what you wanted.

This is basically humiliation porn. The right gets off on these expressions of violence and control, especially when it's white on non- white. Sick stuff that apparently appeals to 40+% of our citizens.
