The algorithm is built to push videos to people who might be interested in watching them. Paying for an ad just pushes the video to people outside of the niche who wouldn’t want to watch it anyways. It probably does way more harm for a channel than good.

Overwatch 2 monetization is awful. You can’t earn any new cosmetics for free, the battlepass refunds you 3/5 of the currency you spent on it, you are basically guaranteed to never use 90% of what you get from it, shop skins cost 2.5x the battle pass.
Anything that benefits ftp players is welcome

The loot box system in Overwatch 1 rewarded players who actually played the game. Even if you got dupes they turned into currency that you could save up to buy the skins you wanted.
If you take away the ability for players to buy them with real money and gamble, I genuinely don’t see an issue.

This is so real. On my scribblenauts video I get endless comments telling me “Couldn’t you just use adjectives?” When they weren’t even implemented in the game I’m playing.
