Yes, yes it would.

Paul Verhoeven is one of the only filmmakers to correctly predict how fucking stupid and tacky modern American fascism would be.

Alberta’s Premier is already howling at Carney to call an immediate election. Feel free to remind Danielle Smith that she was sworn in as Premier on October 22, 2022, but chose not to call an election until May 1 of 2023 - nearly 7 mos after being sworn in as an “unelected Premier”. #ableg

#yycbike report (0530): 1-2cm snow covered with a weird slush/ice base layer in Eau Claire, Riverwalk, Bow north, and Nose Creek pathways. Sometimes you get fully soft snow, but that odd slush/ice base layer is the majority, it does grip and slow you down. Side streets are getting slick.

Happy International Women's Day to this classic banger

Sorry your Mum had a skydiving accident.

"eliminating digital ticket expiry" Yes, yes, yes.

Question for #yycbike, are there any bike racks or good lock up spots at the Bonnybrook wastewater plant?

Heads up #yycbike, Bow North pathway closed between 9th street and the LRT bridge due to a body being found in the river. 🙁

Alberta's new border enforcement measures are now in place amid U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs levied on Canada. While officials argue the crackdown is necessary, locals worry the Black Hawk patrols and political tensions could erode a close-knit community. #abpoli www.cbc.ca/newsinteract...

After speaking to council yesterday on the approval of the Riley LAP I got quoted in the Hearald. Huge thanks to all the other speakers who came out to speak in support. calgaryherald.com/news/local-n...

Korean Air privately operated 787-8 arriving from Moncton. #avgeek

So long Lacey Court...what a shame. skyrisecities.com/forum/thread...

#yycbike report this morning: Eau Claire, Riverwalk, Bow North and Nose Creek MUP all bare and dry. Just the couple iced up spots as usual under 16th avenue.

Is this good? 🙃

#yycbike report (0530): I was out too early for the snow, just the odd light flake. As of right now some snowfall but roads appear to be only wet, curious what type of accumulation the pavement may actually see today.

@ximenaka.bsky.social you have to go find this long quesadilla in CDMX. bsky.app/profile/jpbr...

After serving as warehouse space for the last year or so, I noticed an "office/retail" for lease sign up on the M2 building main floor bay in East Village. Hopefully this prime Riverwalk facing space gets something that activates the area.

#yycbike Closure on North side Bow Pathway at Point McKay. Looks like detour is to the pedestrian path. Large number of service vehicles, perhaps a watermain again.

#yycbike: the giant melt puddles are improving and draining. Still be aware of the big one along the zoo pathway by the moose enclosure. Other trouble spot is the one just north of 16th avenue on the Nose Creek pathway, it gets a lot of shade and now features(!) big ruts too.

Today I will thrive!

Jeeeeeezus. 👀😬😬

Baffling that they'd entertain an option that would put tall power poles right in front of the Midfield area that the city is redeveloping. Bury the lines. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
