To want a straight pride is to misunderstand Pride. Pride didn't start out celebrating asexual folks, now it does. Allies have been attending Pride for years. When the oppression ends, why wouldn't the Pride celebration continue with straight folks having a float in the parade like everyone else?

Fox should recognize whataboutism, especially so perfectly placed.

The real Job Creators are the customers, not the rich owner/founder/CEO (this realization of the stupidity of the Job Creator label as applied to Billionaires wasn't mine, but it should have been).

When we just couldn't stomach CNN anymore, we realized it was a big part of why we had cable. It's been just streaming and OTA for a few years now.

CNN has been at this for a LONG time. They constantly put a microphone in front of that guy leading up to the first term. They ran a story on "Voter Fraud" years ago that was really registration fraud (M. Mouse wasn't going to show up to vote). How much did CNN cover the DC rally with Ed Schultz?

Nobody talks about Reagan headed into his second term (see, I can do whataboutism too). I was NOT concerned about Biden having struggles headed into his second term (understood others were, I didn't oppose him withdrawing). Hey Tapper, how does your worst "inside look" compare to what we got now??

There are other horrors in the world - with that out of the way I clicked like. Can folks please click like on this while voting federally in a way that protects the right to vote itself? Asking for a country (maybe a world).

Would cutting off weapons have been enough to get Dems more votes? What was the bar for those who stayed home? Again, sadly, even cutting off weapons would have had its costs to the Dems. I was hoping there would be more single issue voters who cared about the freedom to vote. I hoped in vain.

Biden was NOT enthusiastic about Gaza horrors. All leaked accounts show how angry he was at Netanyahu. Would Democrats really have won pulling all support? Sadly, I'm not so sure. Who do you think was laughing their asses off about the pickle the Democrats were in?

And the whole thing about one income could support a family? Both parties helped end that, but, in modern times, only one party has been doing ANYTHING to move back towards that (and it's NOT the Rs).

I do not want us meeting halfway those who take a chainsaw to federal institutions, break law after law, round people up sans due process, disregard our national security, unify humanity against us. If meeting that halfway is what it takes to get votes, then we best be onwards to our sorrows.

Even if companies were ready to make huge investments here and pay good wages, what company isn't terrified at this point of the wild whims of Republican administrations?

A little too much 'I don't go along with the dems on everything'. Seems to be working in her district (didn't work out for most dems who tried to run away from dem principles in 2024), just not excited for the senate run.

Now dems, GET SOMETHING FURTHER FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN RETURN FOR YOUR SUPPORT on tariffs.

He expressed being bored while folks were making career ending votes on the impeachment. He asked 'when are Democrats going to care about the economy' when it's obvious to any actual observer only Democrats care about the lived (and ticker tape) economy. Been a few years since those, one hopes..

In many species, the male has the brighter colors - perhaps to get the attention of females and to draw predators away from the more species-critical females? Leave it to modern humans to declare makeup and colorful clothes to be decreed by some natural law and then arguably get the gender wrong. 😕

Farmers could take advantage of lower shipping costs and sell domestically!! I bet they never thought of that before.

He does keep saying "just kidding" on some of the tariffs. Is he trying to "slow walk" to the emergency (say 6 months instead of 6 weeks)? Please share with folks how quickly this dismantling is actually happening! The more folks realize how self-inflicted this is, the better we'll hold together.

I think it's the volume of what mainstrean media DOESN'T say that causes a similar amount of damage.

Maybe before this horror show someone would have paid $5 million for US citizenship

If you have such a vehicle but you'd struggle financially to donate it, selling it priced to move sends the right supply/demand signal (someone may decide not to buy a new one).

I don't get it. Farmers lost big during the first term (losing overseas markets forever, etc), not sure what those who voted for him this time were expecting..

People say "he's so rich, how could he possibly care about any of this stuff?" Well, he DOES. Just remember, back when he had $50 billion, he still wanted MORE.

From what I hear, USAID makes countries less vulnerable to tyranny (US soft power). Of course they want the US to shrink from the world stage.

Anecdotally (not intended to treat, cure, diagnose, prevent, talk to your doctor): I've heard supplementing with L-Lysine may help Long COVID. In addition to vaccination, I've been taking D3+K2 (talk to your doctor about D overdose), C, Zinc, Omegas.

But the article shouldn't call it "two weeks work by the GOP", two weeks of distraction hysterics or something..

But they can't win even WITH all that if people are just a little big-hearted and spend just a little time cutting through the nonsense (or consulting their lived memory).

This needs to be job 1 when democrats are back in charge. But also, shame on the majority of those whose votes were counted and shame on those who couldn't be bothered knowing what their fellow Americans were up against. Please do better next time for all our sakes. Thank you.

What's the name for someone who wants practical blanket guarantees (health care, sustainable infrastructure), affordability and specific guarantees for the rest, regulated markets, but wants this voted in on hand marked paper ballots or it doesn't happen (that's the hardest fastest rule)?

But there are people who claim they cannot tell the difference and try to sound above the fray by saying so and then the "news media" re-interprets its job as catering to these people as though they were honest and prevalent (and is careful to avoid discussing economic fairness).

Who should we have gone with in 2020? Americans hate each other too much to guarantee everyone health care. Bernie would have lost (but then we'd have publicly debated healthcare again and maybe been done with Don now instead of restarting). Coulda woulda who knows at this point.

Wow, is this the type of news America was reading leading up to the election? Biden failed to pivot to the center??? Biden-Harris needed to acknowledge high prices [more], explain them, tout the efforts to combat them (antitrust and anti-gouging isn't very "centrist" these days). As to Americans
