Starting to finally get a blockout that I like. Getting closer, at least. The proportions are starting to feel nice. I wanted this safe zone to feel comfortable with the outside sky but also oppressive and choking with the towering stories. #UE4 #Blender3D #gamedev #indiedev #horrorgame

Having a frustration. Aesthetically and thematically, the game I'm working on could 100% benefit from the whole "VHS/Hi-8/Analog" style for my UI, menus, etc. But a big part of me I feels like that style is so oversaturated. Plus, idk how else to word this, this is a "red" game, not a "blue" game.

I hit a really significant milestone earlier this week with my inventory system, so I rewarded myself by finally migrating my SSD. I'd been flirting with the last 500mb for years lmao. Lowkey I still don't know how to write C++ regularly. The process has been a lot of the same way I figured out how to type on a keyboard. I saw, and recognized, the proper way to learn. Yet instead I elected to go on a "hunt and peck" style binge until I became comfortable writing my own stuff.
