As a CS and AI dev I can tell you this isn't our biggest threat from AI. The threat is from the people who own the big AI companies, the fact they also own the biggest social media companies and that they are essentially part of the Government now.

My guess is that the vast majority of Democrats will continue to get all relevant vaccinations and monitor outbreaks. Unfortunately MAGA thinks all this crazy stuff is cool so they will probably agree to skip vaccines and are the ones in most danger. This means more viruses around so be careful.

The Trump administration is fighting DEI because they are racists and misogynists. When they say "make America great again" they mean "make America for white males again". We have always been the melting pot of the world but some of the oligarchs are still fighting the civil war.

I'll believe it when I see a deal signed. If it does get signed it's because Zelenskyy knows that the US oligarchs cannot move any equipment into Ukraine to extract minerals before 2026 and Trump will be neutered by then.

I'll see when I get your book but our foreign policy has been so terrible for so long I'm not sure where we begin to fix it. We had started no wars before Vietnam, now ~35? How about ~60 covert regime changes, one of which may have been here in the US? Who really decides foreign policy here anyway?

I wonder how Trump will react if their threats and extortion attempts drive Ukraine to the point where they ask China to help instead of us?

George Wishart (also Wisehart; c. 1513 – 1 March 1546) was a Scottish Protestant Reformer & one of the early Protestant martyrs burned at the stake as a heretic. George Wishart was the son of James and brother of Sir John of Pitarrow, both ranking themselves on the side of the Reformers.

Congresswoman Crockett, they are only culling those who they can prove are not rabid MAGA Trump supporters. Isn't this illegal?

Faux News propaganda must be stopped. Look at their spin in these headings:
"DOGE has AOC all worked up"
"AOC thinks Elon is a nobody"
Reagan killed the fairness doctrine then allowed Rupert Murdoch and Fox News to come to the US from Australia. We need to deport these specific illegal immigrants.

Can someone on the #LawSky team answer this question?
Did the text of the SCOTUS 2025 Roberts end of year report be interpreted as a warning to Trump that his immunity doesn't extend to the courts or was it just self-serving rhetoric?

America is still a nation of laws even if Musk/Trump want to pretend otherwise. I am so grateful to the legal teams fighting for us right now. Please give to the ACLU and the independent legal teams like Marc Elias who are spending far more on this fight than they are bringing in.

Great work Bluesky!
However, we need to work on the number of new users signing up right now. If you or anyone you know has reach on other platforms make sure to mention Bluesky. If you haven't already invited your followers from the toxic platforms that helps too. We can make this 2+ per second.

Elon can't even update a driver on his laptop without help. His success comes from 2 factors:
- He was born rich
- He's skillful at taking advantage of other people's good ideas.

The U.S. Military. They have fought and died to protect America for almost 250 years. They will never allow us to be taken over by Russia.

If Trump had said, "I want the 50% of rare minerals in the currently Russian controlled areas of Ukraine" I could maybe agree with this since it would have been a statement to Putin that he had to exit all parts of Ukraine he holds. Trump did not say that so it means 100% of what Ukraine has left.

Yes, Puerto Rico is a US territory. AOC is in this list because she stated ICE tries to intimidate her and because she is an important force for good. Sheesh, you only get 300 characters in a single post. 🤣

However, you don't need to kill anyone to resist. Not usually.

I wonder how many of RFK Jr.'s anti-vaxxers will risk death of pancreatic cancer rather than use this vaccine?
1. None
2. Some
3. Most
4. All
Perhaps even MAGA can choose wisely on rare occasions.

A more likely reason is that Trump's biggest donors are the 'drill-baby-drill oil billionaires. Most U.S. oil was discovered on former slave plantations and they don't want us to know that. These guys didn't just go away after the civil war. Shell Oil, Amoco, so many others...

I'm pretty sure that around 50% of Elon's MAGA supporters on ex-Twitter are young males still living at home. I don't have any data to confirm this yet but will start running the numbers as they start complaining about their parents kicking them out of the house due to Elon's D.O.G.E. cuts.

We got almost zero MSM coverage from the 50 States protests. If we're going to get any air time from the billionaire-owned MSM we need to make them wonder what's going on. Everyone, wear blue. Hats, scarves, coats. It will show up on camera so they'll blab about it. Make this go viral on Fox News.

This is like using our veto to stop the UN from giving the Palestinians their own state. It's like banning vaccines for K-12 kids. It's like a President declaring he is a king. The people in the current Trump administration are most certainly idiots. MAGA is so brainwashed they think this is cool.

As a CS an AI developer, I need to point out that AI-ism is not a good thing any more than other 'ism's. I use only open source AI like Tülu 3, DeepSeek-R1, OpenThinker-32B and UI-TARS. It's the training models that suck in other people's art and you can blame most of this on Meta Llama.

Even though history shows Chamberlain wanted to do the right things for the UK, appeasement was a horrible judgement call. If the country had faced Hitler strongly at the start as Churchill did many UK lives would have been spared. History will also show Trump is sadly lacking good judgement.
