Politics. Those Democrats are either in Republican districts that won or they thought they were safe enough or not running again. Most Votes that you have to hold your nose and must pass and your the minority work this way! The Others Voice can Vote showing frustration for the base.

Ok you’re mad I am too! Now let me explain between a rock and a hard place. If the bill didn’t pass in a shutdown the president has the power to deem if any agencies are essential and the courts couldn’t stop him. He could close or layoff agencies to nonfunctional levels! Which he preferred !

Thousand yards don’t mean much in a 17 game schedule! No matter how you feel O.J. Simpson did 2,004 yards in 14 game schedule in 1974. So to get 60 a game doesn’t mean much these days no matter the coordinator. ( 15 a quarter on a running team)
