One thing this little bleat from Chad “Damp Little Britches” Mizelle demonstrates is the duality of Trumpism: it’s about simultaneously being (1) a tough truth-telling masculine elbow-thrower and (2) as fragile as a porcelain goose. Bullies who can dish, but weep at the slightest pushback. Losers.

Ninth book was The Hunter by Tana French. Obviously another banger by French

Eighth read book this year was The Searcher by Tana French. French does such a good job setting scenes. Makes me want to live in Ireland (minus the murders)

elon is a dork

🚨FUNDRAISER TIME!!!🚨 Donate to any of the trans support organizations in the attached note and YOU can win one of four gift certificates to the Criterion website. Details in the note below, which I will pin to my profile

Musk is the living embodiment of AI: a broken, tech-bro tool that inserts itself into everyone's life unsolicited and makes everything worse.

Seventh book was Trust by Hernan Diaz - wasn’t a big fan but it was good enough that I wanted to finish it. If interested in a fictional history of the 1929 market crash, go for it

CM Punk an ally

no way in hell i ever boo this man

you know shit’s crazy when a catholic group can condemn a nazi salute but the ADL can’t

Sixth book read was The Mercy of Gods by James S.A. Corey. It’s a good and fun read - great universe building with tons of aliens

this is where "just asking questions" and sports bans have brought us - the attempted total erasure of trans people from public life fuck these people, trans rights are human rights

Here's a little secret: I dislike covering elections. There's always so much going on and it can be confusing. But I'm still excited for RANKED CHOICES, @thecity.bsky.social's weekly newsletter launching soon. Let's untangle it all together. Sign up! www.thecity.nyc/newsletter-m...

Being trans is a joy and a gift! Some folks are trying to take away that joy! We will not let them! We will become even more trans and more joyful as time goes on!

Never going to forget or forgive a single fucking person who supported him.

Fifth book was Recursion by Blake Crouch. Fun, fast read about the ability to travel back in time via memories and the hell that would bring to the world

@ryannorth.ca my 9 yr old is enjoying Romeo and/or Juliet - any Choose Yours… that influenced you that you’d recommend? She also loved Warp Your Own Way!

Pamela Paul defended conversion therapists stabbing trans kids with needles, presented a retracted study as fact, and boosted ex-trans grifters as a reason to delay and deny medical care And that was just one of her columns at the New York Times. Good riddance to a bad person!

Fourth book was The Witch Elm by Tana French. Was fun to read a French book from a civilian perspective and not cop.

Gotta love ppl who work in book shops

Third book read was Bleachers by John Grisham - more of a character study about an aging ex-QB, a small town, and an abusive/beloved ex coach. Breezed through it but don’t really recommend

Second book was Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. Good sci-fi thriller, quick read.

First book finished this year is @aptshadow.bsky.social’s Empire in Black and Gold. Just excellent world building and a good fantasy read.

Thought I’d read more, but life gets in the way. Favorite was either Song of Achilles or pick one of House On The Cerulean Sea and In The Lives of Puppets.

Daily reminder that the underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.

I've developed this helpful sign for people who haven't done the reading.
