I don't know what it is about that chocolate bar, but every time I see it I think cheap, discount, bottom shelf dollar store knock off chocolate.
First time I saw it I didn't know that it was his chocolate and thought it was some kids show tie in as a desperate merchandising cash grab.

I think it's horrible. BUT, if it's a pilot who wants to start doing charter flights then it almost makes sense. Win the jet and set up your own business.
What doesn't make sense is how he'll cover the up front fees for insurance, where to store the jet, and the taxes he'll pay for winning it.

Be careful what you wish for. Haven't Rs been trying to privatize Social Security for years? Imagine having your last social safety net for old age wiped out by a recession.
Don't fall for this meme, even as a joke. Agitate to protect Social Security, don't joke about self-investing.

It'd be a shame if some stressed out, overworked ATCs made a mistake on one of his flights.

And let's all remember that global per capital for CO2 emissions was 4.7 metric tons in 2023.
That's 5 people's worth of CO2 emissions for a year.

I'm sorry, what the actual fuck!?
No. Never.
Fuck your facist feelings about immigration of any sort, if you advocate killing people based on immigrant status you forfeit your right to have an opinion on the topic, you sociopathic trolling piece of shit.

How so? Because I believe consumerism to the point of thinking associating or championing a brand and/or product is not exclusive to America?

We were programing in C in high school, lol. And I did not go to a well of district at all.
GenX did not all lack for tech resources.

2 - 80s and early 90s were for boomers, too many fell into the second category & it's on them for not keeping up & not due to being born at a certain time.
I've seen the same thing with GenX, Millenials and even GenZ - too many people don't want to learn anything but the minimum & get left behind.

My parents were silent gen, my dad learned programming in college on punch cards.
They both kept up with technology after their education ended.
If you got left behind it was either due to lack of resources (which sucks) or lack of innate curiosity. Knowing how lucrative the

Finding this reply and being taken to a book I want to find and a new (to me) podcast that looks fascinating made reading all these replies worth the time - thank you for the tip!

3 - the person, their curiosity and willingness to learn anything new instead of what was around when they were 12.
Generational stereotypes overall need to be set on fire until nothing is left but ashes. They divide us and distract us from the real problems.

2 - except this time, "that" generation did. And with the tech available to GenX, the learning curve for all our future tech is less drastic.
We're in an environment where this arbitrary generation designation doesn't mean shit about your ability to learn and use technology and it's more about...

It is different, but that isn't what this person is talking about.
It's about the creeping rewriting of history on a social level to portray GenX the same as Boomers.
We cling to the idea that older = bad with tech and we justify it by saying it's because "that" generation didn't grow up w/ it...

That runs parallel to exactly how Musk conducts himself. It's the techbro "move fast, break shit, I'm a disruptor lolz" mentality.
Which has no place in a government. Government needs to be stable, if you want to play fast and loose you do it with your own $, not taxpayer $.

Why are Apple users always afraid to say they buy it because they like how it looks? That's okay to say.

There's nothing more nonAmerican than mistakenly assuming your nationality has insulated you from the rampant consumerism creating that first statement.

Nonsense. Girls don't play D&D. The dice excrete a chemical that messes up estrogen. It's a proven scientific fact.

With this logic why ever vote at all because you can always end right back up with a fascist shakeup later.
If this were valid we'd never have progressed in human rights ever

... With whatever stance she took at that time? Cool, I respect that, you researched her and decided that was your breaking point to not support her. I disagree, but good for you for being an adult.
You flail & say capitalism, war criminal, etc? You're being childish, doing more harm than good.

And do you think the vocal people like them who are so negative without any thought out stance they can articulate (and provide proof for) helped some of those 90 million people feel justified in staying home?
You say you didn't wanna vote for Harris cause she was a prosecutor and you disagreed..
