And to be clear, I used this twice a week (days working in the office), every week until now, when an update was forced onto my phone

I used this via a USB cable on my work laptop to maintain a separation of what I'm logged in to between work and personal devices. I can use one of my monitors for Dex, but then I lose the ability to use it for my computer and I need to use a separate keyboard and mouse

It seems like something I see in every apartment I look at and no one that I know actually uses them.

Realizing now that I ended up with double quotes instead of my normal single quotes and it's bugging me

The bug was with the audio. It would start to mess up in the loop until it went silent, which is unfortunate considering the OST is amazing. Worse was that it would cause you to get stuck on some voiced segments, the game waited for the voice to finish playing, but nothing played, so you were stuck

The original Rondo was only on PC Engine and it was a pain to try to emulate that system last time I tried.
I think this PSP release is the only one that has English voice acting for the cutscenes.
There's a good Wiiware version that emulates well, but it's full Japanese.

The game is the original version of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood that's contained in the PSP remake of the game Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. You do need to have a save that's beaten to the game to access it, so I suggest finding one, there's also a version of SotN in there.

I got a flu shot last year, wear a mask, don't touch my face when I'm out, and use hand sanitizer before I eat. No clue how I got it.
