I’m thinking that the airlines may crap on all this pretty soon, if the notion that it is unsafe to fly gets some traction. And, woe betide the flying public (and aircrew) if the Muskrats start tinkering with the legacy code.

The notion that Musk would buy a sock puppet is entirely plausible, after Trump dies. Vance has no cult following, so he would need help, and he would probably be quite affordable. And, I guess if we are contemplating the possibility of three terms for Trump, why not a foreign-born Dear Leader.

As for the money, I think the MAGA cult will trump Musk’s money. 😎
Besides, Musk might be fighting off 70 million lawsuits from people who didn’t get their SSA check because of Marko’s typo.

Another tricky thing for me personally would be somehow developing a substitute for at least some of my social security income (which provides security, duh) and my Medicare benefit.
But, I am able and would be willing to sacrifice so that I can be proud of my “country” once again.

An administrative secession would start with Maker States prohibiting federal law enforcement from operating in the state and have all its citizens remit their taxes to the state revenue department.
One tricky thing would be getting hold of at least one nuke and a delivery system.

The NAU would be the states of Canada and Mexico, and those Maker States with contiguity to them. I’m thinking the Left Coast and the NE coast. Lots of other states could make it work, e.g. Illinois MN and my own CO, if NM comes across.
