I have a few of these books. How I wish they would update the Phillies Encyclopedia. The copy I have only goes up to 1992.

Many years ago, my step-brother & his wife drove to Newark, NJ airport to catch a plane to the Caribbean, only to find out they were supposed to go to the airport in Newark, DE. Obviously, they missed their flight.

I want nothing to do with Curt's politics, but what has he done to be denied admission? There are far worse people in the hall. Joe DiMaggio slapped Marilyn around. Pete "did" a child. Curt has never done anything so heinous. There are a lot of bad dudes in the hall. Ty Cobb & The Babe come to mind.

Everyone has their favorite. I understand how you feel about that place. Here's mine in Princeton, NJ.

I got them at Costco for half price of most places & they're almost invisible. Most people don't even know I'm wearing them. They even have audiologists to give you a hearing test. Rechargeable, no batteries & they should last 3 to 5 years.
