My preferred method is with a tent. Generally Denmark. 5 days to get to Vammen. Stay there for a week to 10 days, then return. Might take 2 or 3 resting days in Kollmar at the Elbe. Alternatively I might just do one of those mad 2500 km rides to Poland and back 🤣

I visited my grandma in Germany a lot as well. Those were mostly long weekends though. Duisburg by bike. 🤣
