I may end up with routing the floppy to an external gotek 90% of the time. I think? Maybe

Amiga recapped, roms upgraded, floppy serviced, CF partitioned, installing OS now… but still no idea what I’m doing. WTFs a Glow Icon?
Also did not know the floppy clicks every other second without a disk. How annoying 😀

I was an ancient history and ancient language major. Mostly it informs the YouTube videos I watch only half of before falling asleep.

Woohoo! Didn’t seriously burn anything! What a crap location for a cap tho. So much plastic!

Most of my restoration supplies arrived so I’m finally recapping the Amiga 1200. While I haven’t seen any leakage, these caps have a game gear level of fish stink. Also every other SMD cap is directly adjacent to some easily melted plastic connector. Not fun at all.

That might take a minute to install

What’s better, the console that doesn’t work or the one that does?

I hadn’t really thought about it since it’s a lot of music I’ve heard many many times before, but yeah that games music comes on strong.

Same. I post business stuff there (product announcements, etc) because I still need to make money. I rarely actually check my account and always engage with people over here first.
My checkmark is about to expire too, glad to drop it, especially since I don’t need my non-replies boosted.

I'm not technically a modder, but you can try talking to @jeffsretrogaming.com.. though the SNES doesn't have an HDMI option as far as I know.
Personally, I opt for a @retrotink.com upscaler for my older consoles like the NES / SNES / N64. It's a one-and-done solution.

You still run OPL, but my understanding is that it uses a different protocol.
So far this seems way better. Everything has been working flawlessly
