Just a guy, with a keyboard, talking about politics and race relations. I was calling myself a liberal back when FOX News tried to make it a slur.

10/10 choice. KMD is so underrated in today's rap digest. My defaults when I'm in the mood for old school is LL 'I'm Bad' and Chubb Rock 'Treat Em Right'

This is why when I argue in favor of DEI policies I say that they should hire anybody as qualified as a least qualified White man on staff.
Shuts them down real quick bc they know how many unqualified White guys get jobs thru their connections

No. They mean that it takes away energy from attacking something that has more meat to it.
YOU can't even stay on message for more than day about multiple things and you're on Democrats for chasing low hanging fruit.
Case in point-- did YOU forget about this? Why aren't you still focused on it?

I gave it an open mind and didn't even make it past your first few paragraphs before I was done.
Just the complete arrogant ignorance about vaccine science. "I'm vaxed so why should I be worried [about still being a carrier and spreading #3 cause of death in America]?"

And I'm over here still waiting for the NAACP to push a Target boycott for trying to cover up their own poor choices by jumping on the "Black people are stealing all our stuff" trend

Well... I also see them do this in press conferences, on debate stages, in press releases, and at campaign rallies.
So based on all of that... I think it's safe to assume that begging Republicans for help is part of the modern Democratic platform.

The fact that Walz figured this out and was told to immediately stop what was the most effective messaging the party has had in years is still@beyond baffling to me

If we shaved off 5% of GOP voters and turned out 5% of non-voters, we could actually flip TX and FL.
comment in response to

Yes! I've been trying to preach this for years! We don't need to convert the GOP at large to win elections. We just need to convince 5-10% of their voters, the edge cases.
And we need to focus on reaching out to that 30% of the country who didn't vote bc neither party represents what they want.

Have you guys ever message tested what it looks like when you're constantly begging the GOP to help you? Who are you convincing with this stupid strategy? Who's seeing you beg Reps for votes and thinking "I don't like them, but at least they're willing to beg in public"?

Stop ceding arguments to make it seem like you're trying to find a middle-ground with ppl who just want to be able to use f*g and tr*nny in public without getting weird looks.

This has nothing to do with the Right. The fact that we gave this nonsense any credibility created the permission structure that leads to equating the "language police" with the actual fascists on the Right.
We should have been pushing back against this narrative, hard, from the start.

Ok. Please clearly state the "liberal norms" the leftists abandoned...

Bc they're DEI hires or are we still not talking about that?

When you hear the media talking about Democrats abandoned the working class, this is what they mean. They mean that Democrats shifted some of the focus away from White men and spotlighted the issues of POC and the LGBT community.

You guys are always trying to second guess every move, like it's a chess match, instead of just doing what's right.
Who gives a $hit if it plays into his hands? The press isn't there to play Holmes v Moriarity. You're there to inform the public about fucked up shit going on where it shouldn't be.

If Dems can't figure out how message against a sitting mayor getting a plea deal bc of the crimes they committed in office, then they don't deserve power.
And if the Gov Hochul can't figure out how to navigate that politically in order to remove him, then she doesn't deserve to be re-elected
comment in response to

She's on the right path. Go for the low hanging fruit. Then build on that. Get rid of Adams for being corrupt. Now you have the fact that you had to oust a corrupt mayor who was in cahoots with the sitting administration, which is also corrupt!

This is the same with the Total War games. Every major release since Rome 2 has been dog shit. And then over a couple of years, you get a few patches, a free update, and next thing you know you have a great game that is leagues better than the original release.

Yeah...bc Dems lost an election bc of ppl misusing 'Nazi' and not bc the economy was being lied about
Ok, my guy...🤣🤣🤣

Bc it's a shitty take and I don't like shitty takes? Seems like as good a reason as any...
comment in response to

You can argue all you want about him being called a Nazi all you want. I care about arguing about people using a bad argument to attack the economy.
comment in response to

No. I don't think I will.
comment in response to

Bc I'm not responding to a post about someone being called a Nazi. I'm responding to a post about someone spreading a bad take on the economy of the last 4 years, using a really bad argument
comment in response to
post
So is it your position that America has never had a good economy in the just 100 years?
comment in response to

I don't see a reason why I should care more about someone being a called a Nazi vs someone misrepresenting the economy. I haven't seen their reason for calling someone a Nazi. I have seen your reason for calling the economy bad, so I'm gonna deal with what's in front of me.

I don't care who's calling who a Nazi. I'm talking to YOU about YOUR post.

We're no better. I see liberals on here chastising Dems for not reacting to everything Trump is doing, when they can't even maintain their outrage on a single topic for more than a few days.
