Samuel Hayden was voiced by my friend Darin De Paul. I believe Giant Bomb declared Hayden the "Best New Character" in their annual awards. It was a brilliant performance and I agree, the good doctor was done wrong in Doom Eternal.

This model came with a "floor mount" which consisted of a flange that screwed into the car floor, and a metal gooseneck connected to a mounting plate where you clipped in the phone. It charged from a cigarette lighter, of course. Unplugged, the battery charge lasted a half hour at most.

Hope it's a short job; he'll probably be too sick to finish anything that takes more than 2 weeks.

No, earlier in the evening we saw the Broadway production of "Death Becomes Her", which was a hoot.

there's little wonder the film was nominated for 11 Academy awards. By the time we got to the Yorick scene I had settled into the acting and found it to be very moving, and the sword-fighting at the end was well-choreographed and genuinely exciting. 3/4

I found it to be a surprisingly innovative bit of technical filmmaking. The performances are still a bit old-fashioned, but the clever mix of sets and miniatures, the transformative lighting, and the constantly moving camera propelling the action from scene to scene... 2/4

I'm also a 3. I was an extra in "Making the Grade" with Judd Nelson, Judd Nelson appeared in "The Breakfast Club" with Ally Sheedy, who was in "She's Having a Baby" with Kevin Bacon

Coincidentally, middle-of-nowhere Arkansas was where I lived in 1977 (Corning to be precise), and the only movie playing at the single theater we had was Star Wars, which I ended up seeing 21 times!

I just bought a cordless Makita lawnmower for $500 (in November in NJ) because I fully expect next year it will be $700-800 after the tariffs kick in

It's been fun. They are pricy for Christmas lights, but just add a new string or two each year and pretty soon they are all you need to decorate the whole house/yard.

I'm a big fan of the "Twinkly" brand of programmable lights--full-color RGB patterns are controlled via an iPhone app. We keep the porch lights up all year and program different colors for different holidays. We even keep a string up in our living room for some mood lighting during TV time.
