It's a big year for animated facial hair

I feel like I have seen Patrick Mahomes' tongue more than I have seen any other athlete's tongue

My sweet, beloved dog Figment will bark herself into a murderous frenzy if she sees another dog on television. In other news, I am ready for Puppy Bowl coverage to be OVER

After several mild NJ winters, we are entering a 2-week period that will include 3 storms, and some estimates for total accumulation exceed 3 FEET in the tri-state area. I kinda look forward to it—we need the snow and I LIKE snow—but dayam, Mother Nature, you gotta save it all up like that?

NJ is covered in marshmallow fluff

My first cell phone, circa 1990. At the time we called it a "car phone". Still got yours?

Be ambitious. Punch up.

There should be a word for when I try to click on a button in a video tutorial

I love taking back-lit photos of birds; "action x-rays" of bird anatomy

Blue sky at night, Winter's delight

DOINK FOR THE WIN!

Finally a close Wildcard game

Having lost my gloves (as one does) I broke down and ordered new ones. Because I have learned how the universe works, I then immediately walked upstairs, checked the back of my office door where a forgotten hoodie was hanging, whose pockets contained my missing gloves. This is as it should be.

Sharing this because I worked with Gabe Gundacker on Cartoon President for 3 years, and it's wonderful to see one of his viral moments repurposed as a meme by @pattonoswalt.bsky.social

Hard to believe all of the people marching in this Rose Bowl Parade are made of flowers... they look so real

Our annual holiday card. Artwork by actual human being Pedro Delgado. Merry Christmas!

Here's the Youtube link to our annual Holiday special! I can't believe we've done 7 of these (10 if you count Easter and election specials).

It's that time of year again! Tonight on Colbert, from my brilliant team at Late Night Cartoons, our Seventh Holiday Special:

After we got home from the theater last night we got caught up in Olivier's "Hamlet". I hadn't seen it in years, and didn't remember liking it much (as a younger actor I never cared for Olivier's sing-song delivery of his lines) but seeing it again, in a beautiful HD print… 1/4

@markhamillofficial.bsky.social, I'll be at a screening of "Empire Strikes Back" tomorrow hosted by Frank Oz... anything special I should ask him on your behalf?

It's a "big movie" weekend... seeing "Moana 2" tonight at our favorite Dolby theater, then tomorrow afternoon I'm going to a screening of "Empire Strikes Back" hosted by Frank Oz... that will be super fun!

Hosting Thanksgiving is a lot of work but it's a wonderful excuse to catch up with a few old friends we don't get to see often enough.

Ah the holiday season, when PayPal phishing scams flood my mailbox every day

My favorite form of self-medicating is listening to video-game podcasts. I'm an OLD gamer—enthusiastically mashing buttons since the original Magnavox Odyssey in the 70s—and I love passing the time with the folks at @dlchypetrain.bsky.social, @giantbomb.bsky.social , and @nextlander.bsky.social.

I'm a big fan of the "Twinkly" brand of programmable holiday lights—full-color RGB patterns are controlled via an iPhone app. We keep the porch lights up all year and program different colors for different holidays. We even keep a string up in our living room for some mood lighting during TV time.
