In the mid-term there was Amazing Heros which was more current with publication info on new comics. We read the Journal for non-fanboy opposing view-points and Light's Buyer's Guide to see what the retail competition was doing.

That chemical substance can be diluted due to not leaving your open comics around for the kids to get into. The new generations (since Spawn/X-Men) bag and board them and hide them away from readers. Not helping the hobby at all.
