I run a tech CMS site for non profits that has to offer conference apps as part of our services and wholly agree with this sentiment. The stigma from leadership and boards is that they feel left behind or not technical enough that demands they always have an app to be modern for their users.

I’m using Claude Code to refactor a Delphi codebase into Python. Humans are always in charge reviewing PRs and diffs. Working really really well!

Yup, I use to do software for them in the US; and some are continuous fed fuel and iron, and can be very difficult to scale down for maintenance and take a very long time to ramp back up too. It's WILD to be inside a steel mill while it's running. There's fire and brimstone everywhere.
