States? How many battalions do they have?

That was two months ago and just 12 days after inauguration. Now it's so much more, a fire sale and a hellbound handbasket! Extraordinary times.

Happy birthday! And happy sobriety too! You got this

I saw Charlie Angus's piece before Karyn's and came here to find you. Easy! Search Rachel and you're #3 behind, you know, Maddow and Vindman. You're up there with the gods! Fuck CTV! (Gave up on them after Lisa LaFlamme)

Canadian here. My favorite is shackwacky or shackwhacked. It's an old expression but after covid every language must have come up with a word or phrase. Hope your kid gets better soon, you too.

Missed that review back then but I would have mashed the Buy Now button if I saw it. Instead I bought (from Indigo) and read the book a little while ago. The funeral scene drew me in and I loved the story.

Waiting to see old Fred wossname climb the chimney.

He lacks both the depth and the warmth.

I'll add that any Canadian pol getting cozy with PragerU should set off all the alarms. Dimwit likely thinks it's a great school.

Lol, all posts are tagged Rude! Blocked.

On it! And seeing James Caan reminds me that it's been too long since I watched Comes a Horseman. Had a thing for Jane Fonda back in the day. "Lady you got balls the size of grapefruits!"

Smart? Aw, shucks, ma'am. More old political junkie, terminally online for the last 3 decades.

Trixie, no ID on the speaker? Ask (and follow) David Climenhaga. He's been watching and writing about Alberta politics for decades. bsky.app/profile/djcl...

Born, you say? Hatched is more like it. The age difference vanishes if one thinks of her as an old demon dressed up as an American princess. I find it helps because I cannot understand how these people can survive in the real world that we live in. But maybe they can't. With luck...

I am indeed familiar with "mutton dressed as lamb." Not bad for his age but still, ew. She says she's Catholic but didn't bother to get married until this year, months after she had his/a baby. Tsk tsk and TMI. Blech!

Ew! You can't make me look but hubby must be a real prize. Icky in all directions.

She lies so well for one so young!

I remember when the song was... inescapable. Kinda like it now, guess I've aged. She hasn't though, she's selling tickets for her 2025 tour. Go Nena!

Reminds me of Terry Pratchett (Gods. I miss him!) who set his location as "behind a keyboard." Please care for your carpal tunnels, we need you.

I believe* that projekt 2025 has a deadline of 180 days from inauguration day for the unscheduled rapid disassembly of the USA. Two months in today and four to go, the handbasket is accelerating. *Might be wrong, the fire hose of horseshit is overwhelming at times.

"At age 16, he sold Reform Party memberships for Jason Kenney and did telephone canvassing for him." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_... This has been stuck in my brain for years. PP has been a pompous little wingnut since the age of 14 and the rest of his bio does not get better.

Have you seen Juno News yet? Malcolm and Bexte, together at last! The nightmares are getting worse

Malcolm and Bexte together? We're gonna need a bigger shovel!

So you're one of them, eh? Cool! Me too!

Hmmm, Nebraska would make a nice ranch. The Clearances will be difficult but doable with military assistance.

Thanks! You find the coolest things

LOL thanks for the memory. Edwin Starr was my very first concert. Montreal Forum, winter of '69. I'll let you guess who the less well known opening act was

Swedish you say? Green card revoked and deported.

There, that's supper sorted.

My favorite is raisin cookie oatmeal. Quick oatmeal Handful or two raisins Brown sugar to taste Milk, heated Butter if you like. For your arteries! Scoop of protein powder cuz I'm old and trying to hang onto some muscle. As I type the gods have come to me and asked, what about chocolate chips?

And where, I ask you, is the national constitutional right-to-carry law? An armed society is a polite society, am I right? (Sarcasm screaming into the void.)

Cheers! You too!

11/10!

Agreed. After the last 50 years we can't do otherwise. But I was hoping my "golden years" would actually be a little easier on my blood pressure. Golden even, but nope. Thinking about Mormon pantries and 5 gallon buckets of ammo is not good for healthy aging. Can still laugh though.

If you're not riled up now... LOL I've wondered what it will take to get the average American or Albertan) sufficiently riled up to act. Looks like I might find out soon and really don't want to.

Oh yeah! Now we're talkin'.

"Big changes." I am too old for... Screw that, bring it on!

Canada could/should join the EU. We do share a border with it on Hans Island and the Whiskey War has come to a peaceful conclusion. I'd vote for it just to watch PP's and trump's heads explode.

Great shot! In the woods in eastern Canada I hear them regularly and see them often but not like that. Yet... Chance favours the prepared camera, well done!

That's my Prime Minister!

Well he is kinda the definition of tone deaf and corrupt, no?

One can only hope that everyone will step foot and tow the line.

Any bets on which cabinet worthy will be the first to resign, be fired or just implode? seems a fair question.

You're a treasure! I cackled and I'll be chuckling all day.

Done. Thank you

Very cool thank you. Some new to me, some old and some I need to rewatch. For instance I haven't seen Jaws since it was released. Been a few minutes

"Nah, that doesn't affect me." Heard many times out here in the backwoods when politics comes up. I laugh to hide my rage
