Despite this I managed to start a new track in ableton today. I think a big part of why this happened was removing the barrier to entry of creating music for me specifically, which is not knowing what genre/s to make initially. Decided to go with techno/speed house 😄

I think certain people vastly overestimate/overpresent their own emotional empathetic capacities online. I think a lot of people just don’t know how to respond when presented with the *reality* of mental illness because the internet culture of “presenting your best self” is so widespread now
