I just remember the sad sinking feeling in 2020 when businesses starting putting up the "please stop yelling at our staff" type signs

That's why Force Awakens was such a fumble, they could've told a story about the New Republic, how the 3 mains from the OT find governing is harder than rebelling, how it's difficult to contain insurgencies and maintain human rights at the same time, and how facsism rises in times like that

So they've pivoted from, "we lost the election because the message wasn't getting through", to, "we can fight this by shaping public opinion"? Just one question...

Don't do it - way too much hassle and red tape.
I couldn't sell mine - I couldn't afford to bring it up to code, no buyers would touch it. I even tried to give it away but idiot children kept falling in the chocolate river.

I'm no economist, but surely "tariffs on, tariffs off, tariffs on tariffs off", makes things even worse than just tariffs.

Just a global shakedown. Why are countries negotiating with him? Even if they get a deal, like Canada and Mexico a few weeks back, he'll just be back in few months having another crack.

The denial is still there, they signed him up to a talent agency, and now they're saying he "wants back in", as he does a Reagan and vanishes from public life after leaving office

Wait, who gave the go ahead for the dancing phase to start? It's too soon, we haven't given the pink shirts and ping pong bats enough time to have their full effect.

She said, "it was never going to be great, fresh air is much better".
Also, this was in scotland, where even in summer the avg temp is far more accomodating to sealing off a living space.

A friend had this problem last year, in desperation she ended up buying an expensive air purifier with a smoke filter (after we did heaps of air filter comparison reading) , she said that if she completely closed up the flat, the purifier made things a "little bit better".

2000 - sitting in a telstra shop "yeah dude, you should totally get broadband"
2004 - "sorry for phoning during your dinner, but you should totally buy a laser pointer"
2006 - "bro you should buy a digital projecter & another laser pointer"
2015 - "your 1/3 share of this billboard pays for itself"

Didn't they openly boast about sex trafficking, then move to a country they said was corrupt and turns a blind eye to sex trafficking, without checking first to see if said country had been under sustained pressure from the EU to crack down on sex traffickers?

The scary thing is, none of this can be fixed working within the system, because they've taken over all of the institutions and are dismantling them. It's going to take civil disobedience, and the new defence secretary has said in the past he thinks the military should be used to quell protests

I think they're delighted. The only thing they're thinking about is Trump burning the country down and destroying the republican brand to the point where they can just walk back into the White House in 4 years without having to promise anything or take a single step to the left.

He's blaming the few people who were actively protesting against something terrible for it then getting worse?
The dems election slogan might as well have been "better the genocide you know".
