2025 is off to a fine start. KC is inching out of a 25-year winter storm an, but school is canceled again. We're at Winter/Holiday/Xmas break plus 3, now. And for good measure, the gods have blessed kiddo 2 with the flu/pneumonia starting on New Year's day that's been hard for her shake.

This makes sense to me. But you have to be loud about it when you do it. Cooperating and finding common ground not only leads to good outcomes on the thing at hand, but it also builds much needed credibility (and relationships) for future battles.
