I see your point. It took Nintendo 10+ years to give us a new Mario Kart feature. And in the trailer, they’re showing us a level we’ve seen in previous games but with an update. Is this really how you want to start off a NEW system?

I think my biggest gripe is the error in Nintendo’s content strategy. Relying on 3rd party over exclusive content isn’t going to be enough to sell me.

QOTW: happy to see Nintendo with some modern hardware. Solid presentation, terrible timing. Mario Kart and DK look rad. Was hoping to see a new Super Mario. Star Fox is MIA. I’m skeptical of the new NSO chat features. I’ll need to see performance reviews and the game library grow before I can jump.

I think early game it starts as dressing for stats, but after the game’s difficulty peaks and I’m OP, dressing for fashion. Best scenario, games like Cyberpunk 2077 where I can gear for stats, but style for fashion is most ideal. 💅💁♀️✨

QOTW: There are 900 Korok seeds to collect in BoTW, and after meticulously mapping all of Hyrule, I finally reached what I thought was my last one—only to realize I had collected just 899. The thought of retracing my steps across the entire map to find that one elusive seed was too much to bear.

I played several demos last week, but the one that had me intrigued to see more was DECK OF HAUNTS, a deck builder where you get to play as a haunted house trying to exit wandering humans into your mansion. Kill them or drive them insane, gain points, and expand your house into a labyrinthian horror

Another thought, having seen DDS perform as a duo, it made the experience seeing VCRheadaches and King Quartz at Nostalgia Lounge that much better. Takes a special dynamic to make music with that kind of synergy.
