🤨
I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure my tweet wasn’t read out to the players before kick off.

They did, and I was not confident at all.
Egg on my face. 🙌

I guess that’s why he’s the manager, and I’m not.

I think you and I have been watching a different game too.

How do you explain bringing Bailey on at HT, who has been anonymous all season?
Why not go with Malen who has not only looked sharp in his handful of cameos but also can’t play in the upcoming CL fixtures?
I’m by no means Emery out, but so much of yesterday was quite frankly baffling.

Well, he managed their fitness right into another hammering at Selhurst Park.
Good job. 👍

I saw a toothless first half whilst two forwards being paid a combined £600k per week (who also combined twice to win our last fixture) were sat on the bench. Finally brought on with only 20mins to go to try and save the day.

True, but that turns into 8 if they win their two games in hand. I know one is Liverpool, but still… it’s City.

Fair point. Well… with any luck he’ll be on straight after the break.

I was happy with the starting 11. They played well at Spurs, don’t want to start upsetting players by dropping them after good performances.

I’m no doctor, but I guess Rain Man in shin pads could be one explanation.

I’ll be happy to see the back of him.
I don’t doubt he’s talented, but he’s also quite clearly a massive tool. Not the right fit for our club, we should take the money and let him be somebody else’s problem.

The one positive is you don’t really hear neutrals talk about him.
Unless you watch us week in, week out, his absolute domination in games seems to be going under the radar somewhat.

Really is baffling.
