What do these corporations have in common? Netflix Ford Tesla T-Mobile Duke Energy DISH Network Metlife Dominion Energy United States Steel In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes. This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

Add “kids receiving unemployment benefits” to list of DOGE hysteria later walked back/which had reasonable explanations. “Social security payments to Ukraine,” “$50M in condoms for Hamas”… everything looks like a conspiracy when you don’t know how anything works. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/12/u...

There’s a special place in HELL for anyone who stands before the Supreme Court and argues that a man they wrongfully sent to an El Salvadorian death camp should stay there.

The most dangerous gang in America. DT-47.

So if Senator Rafael Edward Cruz were a student in Florida and he asked the teacher to call him by his woke chosen name "Ted," and the teacher did, the teacher could get fired?

True story.

Hope this helps.

There’s an amusing Graham Greene novel called The Bomb Party in which an eccentric, incredibly wealthy man toys with wealthy Genevans to see just how much sycophancy they’ll perform and how much humiliation they’ll endure to satisfy their greed.  We’re living in that novel now.

Seeing posts go viral by pointing out if the stock market goes down 50% on one day and up 50% the next day, you aren’t back where you started. $100 -> $50 -> $75. We are so cooked if elementary school math is blowing people’s minds like this.

This is what a critically endangered Red Wolf looks like. If we work together, we can save them 🐺 nywolf.org

The ideas around “neutrality” and “bias” have done so much damage in the mainstream media. These ideas only work in one direction—against the left—and result in people in the industry who personally identify as left-leaning overcompensating and doing the right’s work for them

One is made a national story every single week and the other is shhhhh.....

Prediction: Today (4/9/25) registered the greatest ill gotten gains from insider trading in history.

Modern journalism's instinct/desire/strategy to lazily accept and pass on, without further interrogation, the nonsense counterfactual framing of whoever is acting in the worst faith, is a huge part of why we are here.

You can tell who the Good Guys are because they're the ones smashing a car window to drag a mother away from her child while wearing ski masks.

Deporting people means a judge signs a final deportation order, and the person is returned to their own country. What we are doing is kidnapping a person off the street and paying for them to be held indefinitely in concentration camps outside US courts' jurisdiction. 100% deliberately extralegal.

Think about how much of an entitled prick you’d have to be to think calling other human beings “peasants” when you’re the Vice President is an ok thing to do. The world’s worst diplomat strikes again. Also: we don’t borrow money from them. That is nonsense.

Sure, Kamala Harris would have have preserved our global power and domestic prosperity. But she would have done so as a Black woman. by Pete Hegseth and Stephen Miller

Did we even say thank you once?

pro tip: if your government claims to have no money for children's heathcare but will eagerly waste millions on a gaudy military parade to stroke the fragile ego of a broken-inside president, you just might live in a shithole country

Constitutionally, impeachment is easier than overriding a veto. Just pointing that out.

I've seen a lot of terrible and stupid presidents over the course of my life but I've never seen one consciously set out to wreck the economy and the country's global standing with such determination and deliberate purpose..

UPDATE: ICE is wildly unconcerned about where this man is and no one will tell me, his registered attorney. The universal answer so far is "let's wait and see where he ends up." This is deeply off. We would have more rights at this point if UPS had lost a pair of shoes I'd just bought from Zappos

Important for all of us but especially journalists.

At this point, you can’t convince me they aren’t manipulating the market. As soon as the indexes started peaking today, the White House started talking about tariffs on China, and everything is in the red again.
