Just a dude trying not to be problematic. I like cars, overlanding, hockey, gaming, ttrpg, and listening to other people's niche special interests.

For anyone interested, you start the normal way with an overhand knot, pull taut, then make two loops on each side. Make an overhand with one side, and before you pull taut, make an overhand on the other side (essentially a double overhand). Then pull taut. Rarely had these come undone or loose.

This goes for every other company too. Why care about injuries at work when there's no one at OSHA to enforce? Why not just dump toxic chemicals into drinking water when nobody can inspect to ensure you are following rules? Government layoffs mean companies are incentivized to harm us.

14 is a significant number for Nazis due to a poplar Nazi slogan from American domestic terrorist David Eden Lane, which contains fourteen words. 11 is commonly used in conjunction with 1 to symbolize the first and eleventh letters of the alphabet, A and K, shorthand for Aryan Knights.

Mammoth has grown on me so much over the last week. Absolutely love it. Plus the mascot would be appropriately silly.

I totally understand that viewpoint, but not every team has to have an intimidating name (Penguins, Blues, Ducks, etc). A Cutthroat mascot would immediately be near Gritty-levels of awesome.

Yetis is a fine name and still all but guaranteed even with this minor setback, but come on. Utah Cutthroat would be so much better.

I talked with one of their brand managers at CES and was surprised at how strongly they pushed back when I mentioned VW and Rivian (partnered with VW). They were emphatic that this is not a VW clone: they say it's a separate brand "backed" (read: funded) by VW and using Rivian tech, no shared parts.

Adhesive is more specific to bodywork. Rather than have a body panel or wheel well attached with twelve screws, it's attached with three and glue instead. But also in the article they talked about using common OEMs so you don't have bespoke items (like tie-rods) with limited inventory.

I think they're referring more to things like the axles, tie-rods, and bodywork that's more likely to break while off-roading than the actual electric architecture. The article refers specifically to them using screws instead of adhesives like many other companies are moving towards.
